i did well with maintaining not gaining from end of novemeber till ny last weigh in day and i did not was mindful on friday so saturday will have room for a few treats.

I have a new motivation; we workplace may soon have a new dress code maybe within a month but i am hoping they hold off till this fall. i do not want to buy larger sizes.

Yesterday, after dinner I wanted a chocolate chip cookie...it could be the season or it could be all the fat in the ribs at dinner...whatever it was...I chose to go to bed and made it without that run to the store or starbucks for cookies...!

I read a blog last night where the person said "No more" about fast food. i was saying it to myself when i finished my shopping. i was tempted and i came up with 3 reasons why it would derail me from my goals so i did not stop for anything, even when i got gas i did not go in to buy candy or sweet snacks!

"The first step to resisting temptation is wanting to."

One my motivators is to be in charge of my own life particularily my desires. i want to enjoy and want the things that are good for me. i am weak to temptation because i am not in a mental place to want to resist temptation.

I don't like feeling dependent on caffine to get through my day. i also hate having to buy new clothes in a bigger size.

Went for a 45 min walk this morning, that's three times around my park area. On the third one I kept hearing my daughter saying to me, "you can do it mom". And I did ! Was happy I did it and happy that my house is close by to use the bathroom!

That's the road I took to gained back some of this weight. Exercise is such a big thing and I've noticed when I do work out I try and make better choices (TRY is key lol). I think I'm glad I gave my old sizes away because I can't just slip into a bigger size but stuff and deal with a muffin top.
Get back to that exercise :-) Good luck

I've had those talks with myself too! Right now I am in maintanence mode for a while and I wake up every morning terrified I'll be back to my old size again! My downfall is exercise, I haven't exercised in a week and a half and I keep telling myself if I don't I'm going to go soft and mushy, which is not a good thing to be.

My motivation is I refuse to buy bigger clothes. I already got rid of my big stuff and now I'm creeping back to that size? I don't think so. So I just tell myself, is it worth it? You will put on them shorts in a few days, rocking a giant muffin top if you eat that cause your not getting bigger pants. It's harsh but I need to be stern with myself lol
