I enjoy the fruit herbal teas - today's choice was Blueberry with a touch of honey in it in my thermos to go to Farmer's market - we are having crazy weather here for the middle of July - I never know if I need a hot or a cold drink with me - today the rain held off till we were loading the pickup to come home.

My mother also had hyponatremia in her later years - I have to be careful to not over load kidney or heart and work real hard at balancing my liquids evenly over 24 hours. So I pretty consistently have 16 oz WATER every 6 hours as that is the way my meds are set up then have my tea nd other beverages in between if I have them. Yes that means I am up at least once each night but that is OK since I do meds then too. If I am sweating a lot, I add light salt to my water to keep sodium and potassium up.

Does anyone else have a problem drinking fluids? My meds have given me hyponatremia. To deal with that I can only drink one and a half sports bottles a day or my blood sodium gets too low. That includes all of my fluids. It's tough but you learn to live with it.
