It feels good to know I'm not the only one who feels that way with the parents thing. My fiancÚ passed away in a freak accident last month & I live at home with my parents (we were planning on moving in together in the fall) & ur right no one knows what it feels like , a grandparent is nothing compared to losing your best friend & soulmate. So thank you for your post & if you ever just want to talk I would b honored to listen these feelings & this grieving process is so new to me as well. Take care, hugs***

I have a close friend and he MOSTLY understands (Mark was his best friend more like a brother since 2nd grade) but no one else. No one in my family have lost anyone close. both of my parents are still alive and they do not get it.. I have even been told to stop crying for no good reason... hummm until they loose their spouse, i will not talk to them..
Plus, Mark and i were closer then any of my siblings are to their spouses... it is just not the same... sorry no help

When things get tough, who do you talk to? Or do you keep it bottled up inside?
