I've added a couple challenges, that will hopefully appeal to folks. Keeping them simple I think is key. I don't know what the average fitness level is for people on this team is yet..

I'd LOVE to go walking at Sandy Creek, and I think it would be great to do on the weekend. Unfortunately, I don't drive so if I don't have transportation I'd be out of luck. I'd also want to bring my son!

I think it would be fantastic to have a potluck at some point, and use only SparkPeople recipes. :D

I love the idea of a pot luck if love to get to know you all. And I have figured out that for myself, I get lax about challenges that last month or something. I get bored with them. But if I have new challenges, I pay better attention to my commitment to it and am more interested in them. I like having new things to focus on so I keep going. that's just what I have figured out about myself. I know it sounds a bit sad that I can't sick to something, but I'm working within my current abilities and continuing to grow. So I'm ok with it lol. Plus it lets me experiment and try new things all the time which I love.

I'd love to do some local challenges!

Thank you for the ideas, when speaking to Ember39 I had talked about the possibility of having a monthly potluck type picnic at a park somewhere, along with some walking/sports type activities.

I'll post a challenge or two later on today, I have some grocery shopping to do!

I agree with LeighAnn. I know I need to help in the fitness area. I am thinking a weekly challenge like that will help motivate me to actually get moving. Maybe the thought that I would have to check in with the group will help me actually get up and exercise.

What sort of team challenges would you like to see? What sort of motivation are you looking for?
