I went out before work today, to celebrate losing 30 pounds. My reward was a new haircut. I got about a foot of hair cut off, and donated it to locks of love. My hair barely touches the collar of my shirt now, but it's so cute, and feels so much lighter. I wonder if I lost a couple of extra pounds this week because of my hair cut. emoticon

Start Weight: 214 pounds
Goal 1: Get under 200 pounds.

Good evening everyone!

It's been a pretty good day. I did splurge on sweets today a bit, so I may go over my calories somewhat. I did hit the gym and got a great workout, though, and plan on doing yoga tonight too. Overall, a good day.

Sam-You have a very tricky dog there! Aren't they so cute when they play tricks though? :)

Linda-Way to get back on the wagon! That's great!! One bad day doesn't have to turn into a bad week, and you definitely got that going for ya!

I just want to let you all know that I may be pretty absent for the next two weeks. I will check in when I can, but the huge program I (with the help of 5 others) have been planning all summer starts next week, so this week is crazy busy. I am dedicated to staying on track, though and have plans in place to be sure I don't stray! I'll miss you all!!!

Hello everyone!

I had a good weekend, I did fairly well on Saturday up until a big BBQ that was planned...drank too much and food choices were not so great lol. Also fully enjoyed "cheat" day on Sunday..hehe

I'm back on track today like usual, ran over 3 miles this morning so I'm happy with that! :)

Our doggie gave us a bit of a scare today though, she was in the backyard (like usual, and it's fenced in) and we went to get her and she was gone! I whipped open the front door of the house and she was sitting there looking up at me like "Hi Mom!" It was cute...but now we're terrified to leave her in the yard til we figure out the escape artist's plan and how she got out!

Good morning all!

I hit the gym yesterday (I take Monday's off) and I think I might have tried to up my weights a little much, but it's a good sore because it means I was at the gym!

I am having a great day meal wise and am planning to hit the gym tomorrow morning!

Today started out well, I did my cardio and strength exercises.

Then I took the kids to the dentist. One of my kids had 4 cavities. The previous dentist that we saw 6 months ago said there were no concerns at all. The new dentist was amazed he hadn't seen anything at all. The only good part is that they are on baby teeth, so eventually they'll fall out and he'll get to start over. I was so frustrated after I took the kids back to school I just wanted to come home and dive into the chocolate to calm myself down, but I didn't. Instead I came straight to the computer to vent to all of you lovely people and I already feel better.

I overdid it on Saturday, but jumped back on the wagon yesterday, so I feel much better. I still need to lose one of those pounds I gained during my overindulgence or I'll be out of the Survivor Challenge. But I had a really nice weekend too. All my kids were with me, and all grandchildren. Life is good.

Mini goals:

Good morning everyone. I trust that all of you had a great weekend full of good choices and wonderful exercise. If you had a slip up let's leave it in the past and begin fresh today.

I had a good weekend all around; just the right amount of exercise, relaxing and chores to make it great. Yesterday I went a little exercise crazy; I took a long walk along the Boise river and did Yoga for 90 minutes, but it left me feeling both energized and relaxed.
