I am sorry for your husbands (and your) loss. I know it's hard when they are hurting and there is nothing you can do but be there. I've been through that with my husband and it's not easy. You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers. emoticon

I am up way too early, but figured I may as well get used to it. In a few days it will be a common thing when classes start.

I wanted to let you all know that after much consideration, AWYEAGLE is going to take my place as co-leader. She already has been super support for this team and I am going to be so busy this semester that I need to drop down to time on Spark to mostly tracking and checking in now and then. I will still be around, just letting someone else more qualified at this time step up to the plate. emoticon

Keep on Sparkin!
Gayle

Hi everyone. last night when from bad to worse. My mother in law called in the middle of the night to let me know that my Husbands Grandfather passed away. I had to break the news to my Husband when he got from work this morning. My house is a dreary place to be right now. I was actually glad to go to work today, just to have a sense of normallcy, and get my mind off of everything for a few hours. Thank you to all of you that left me comments. Forgive me if I don't respond to you each individually, but I wanted you all to know how much I appreciate them. So many of you have come to mean alot to me. You're like a whole new mini cyber family.

Amy,

Thanks for posting your last message, I'm feeling horribly BLAH today. :(

I woke up this morning and there was a lightning storm outside, so needless to say, I did not go for my usual run.

I know it's not my fault but I feel HORRIBLY guilty about it. I think it's b/c I was secretly (in my head) like "Hahahaha I have an excuse not to run now!" and I don't like that my brain made me think that!

I'm hoping to get a run in tonight (I'm not motivated to do it though..this is why I run first thing in the morning), or on one of my normal days off (I'm leaning towards that route)

It's still gloomy out and I feel not so great today due to not running...

Thanks for the silly quotes though Amy, glad I'm not the only one feeling BLAH!

Sam

Sounds to me like there is a wave of the BLAHS spreading across the country, I know I've got them and it looks like many of you do also. So I did some poking around and found the following quotes to help out:

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there - Unknown Author

If you want to look young and thin, hang around old fat people - Jim Eason

The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places - Author unknown

And lastly my favorite:

The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph! - Marvin Phillips

Good morning all!

I didn't sleep well at all last night either, and I wish I had your discipline and had gotten up to workout this morning but I didn't.

I will be painting our spare room tonight, so that will be my workout!

have a great day everyone!

I am worth it. I just sometimes have to remind myself of that!

After not getting much sleep last night, I still made myself work out and I have so much more energy now! I love feeling like I want to be moving and the how the couch doesn't look as appealing anymore!

Today boot camp class was hard. I completed two weeks need four more weeks to go. The classes are getting harder not easy at all. But I can't complian I see the results and it's paying off.

I have been busy, busy, busy! And it's going to get worse here in a few days when my last semester starts. Haven't done so well with my eating. I know it's the building up of stress....no excuse! I did get to the gym over the weekend (Saturday), but I should have been there today as well. Too much running around to do and I need to get better with my studying for this test that we have at the beginning of our class. Ugh!

But I am trying to keep a positive outlook. Everyone have a super day!

Good morning everyone. I hope this Monday finds all of you in fine spirits and ready to tackle yet another week.

I had a great weekend and my visiting family left this morning so I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. I ate really well the entire time they were here but I didn't get in nearly as much exercise as I wanted to. So that is the end of distractions by family and life upheaval for awhile now so I'm ready to hunker down and finally get below 200 - my goal is to do that by the end of August.
