@DEEEBEE - you thing is walking and you do it very well.

Because I work 12 hours a day during the week, my weekend's I usually run errand and spend the rest of my time in bed, This weekend was pretty much the same. I slept about 8 hours when I got off Saturday morning and Sunday after church, I did try out for a modeling spot in our theatrical play we're having at our church. After that I came home caught up on some programs I had recorded during the week until I fell a sleep.

Our walking club went to Cahokia Mounds in Collinsville, IL Saturday. We walked 11k which included a climb up Monks Mound. We saw about half a dozen deer. It was 90 something, but there was a good breeze.

Yesterday we saw a documentary at the Tivoli featuring a fellow from our church who swam around Manhattan to raise funds for Ferguson, where he used to live. He had previously swum the English Channel, and he attempted to swim from Catalina Island to Los Angeles after NY, but could not finish that swim. It's very good, but it will be at the Tivoli only a little while longer. See it if you can. It's motivating and inspirational. After all, if he can practice swimming six hours every day in cold water, what's my excuse!

My weekend was good. Not overly busy, but I spent some time working on my daughter's junior bridesmaid dress for my niece's upcoming wedding. I also spent some time with my best friend and failed at making meatloaf in my instant pot.

Mine was good but busy. My daughter had a band competition Saturday and we visited with my husband's cousin yesterday who was in town from Wisconsin.
