HEALTHYME, I am doing a variation of ChaLean Extreme's Lean For Life Phase. I change up a combination of circuits every 30days. I have it all pre-planned for months ahead and yep, this keeps me focused on consistency along with continued motivation from my buddies..lol. You CAN get to this point...write down an exercise plan and stick to it. Changing it up every 30days is key to me. WTG on getting your exercise!

Today was Push Circuit 3...a tough strength training session but the more muscle means a faster metabolism even during rest.

This session I was able to AGAIN increase weight sets in the following:

Bench Press - 12.5 to 17.5
Single-Leg Sumo Squat - 15 to 17.5
Reverse-Grip Bent-Over Row - 15 to 17.5
Long-Arm Pullover - 12.5 to 15

Weight sets in use: 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20
Focus: arms, shoulders, chest, glutes, legs

Wow! This is impressive! I see you change up your workout on a regular basis, does this help keep you motivated? Or it sounds like you have no problem making time to workout which is great! I need to get to that point.

Today was Burn Circuit 2 (38min strength). You know how you have those workout days when a circuit that you've done before seemed harder? It was like that today...lol...had me doing some extra huffing, puffing, sweating.

I was able to do 4 more reps in the Sumo Squat w/Bicep Curl; 2 more reps in the Sumo Squat w/Overhead Tricep Extension; increased weights from 7.5lbs to 10lbs in the Bicep Curls w/Abductor Balance but shaking..lol.

Weight sets in use: 10, 12.5, 15
Focus: arms, hamstrings, legs

Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week right now are cardio or ab/stretch workout days.

Performed Debbie Sieber's Slim & 6-Pack (Advanced abs routine for 11 minutes) and Slim & Limber (Flexibility routine for 14 minutes).

Also, I do get a lot ...of walking daily when outdoors working in the yard. It has become so commonplace that I forget to think of it as "exercise". So far, I am being conscious about my water intake and have had PLAIN water (no flavorings).

Today, I performed the Push Circuit 1. There are nine exercises in this circuit with a maximum of 8 slow paced reps each. My biceps/triceps were burning along with my glutes. I increased weight sets from 10lbs to 12.5lbs doing Standard Bicep Curls and the Hammer Biceps...yay! I struggled to do ONE push-ups on the toes but finished the other slow 7 on my knees. Don't let anyone tell you there is not a cardio effect while lifting heavy weights because sweat was running all over this body this morning...lol.

Weight sets in use: 7.5, 10, 12.5, 20
Focus: biceps/triceps, glutes, and legs

It's a Tuesday morning - I just finished my "Ripped in 30" workout, and I'll be doing a Zumba workout after work. It'll be a short workout week for me, as I am traveling up North for a long weekend to visit family - which means a double workout day Tues (am & pm), early am workout Wed (hair done in pm), and early am workout Thursday, so that I can pack in the evening. I'll only get in 4 workouts this weekend - but I may end up walking a lot through the airports.

I started Day 1 Level 1 of the 30 Day Shred, plus 30 minutes on the stationary bike as my warm up! I already feel like I'll be sore tomorrow, but it felt great!
