It was a cardio day so Burn It Off! (interval styled cardio) was done and I GOT through it with little to no use of the modifications except with the Burpees. At least I DO those now instead of substituting another exercise. I feel GOOD!

Those football type drills are NO laughing matter either....a very athletic workout. This thing had me sweating from head to toe as usual. This is a short, excellent HIGH INTENSITY cardio workout, itís quick, 30 minutes.

I did 10 minutes free run on Wii Fit Plus for a challenge. Then I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Bootcamp. I am definitely feeling that one. I also did walk it out for a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Hi HEALTHYBARB1, I pray that your day got better. We all can relate to stress that makes you want to PUNCH something! Big Hugs!

Today was Burn Circuit 2 (38min strength) and I DID the "extreme set of 3" tricep pushups on my knees this morning!!!! Tricep pushups have ALWAYS been DIFFICULT for me to do in the past so I MUST be getting stronger in the arms....LOL!! This circuit had my heartrate up enough to cause sweating running down the back, too.

7 out of the 9 exercises I am lifting heavier than the Modifier and the other two I match. Next week I expect to go up in weights on two exercises (Sumo Squat w/Bicep Curl, Dead Lift Row).

Weights in use: 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15
Focus: arms, hamstrings, legs

side note: In Jan 2010 I was lifting 5-7lbs and now I am lifting 7.5 to 15lbs in this particular circuit.

On Friday (4/22), Performed Burn Circuit 3. Because of the workout I did on Thurdays which involved shoulders,Friday's workout was EXTRA tough. I have to remember not to do those back to back.

Today, I performed the Push C1. There are nine exercises on this circuit. I was able to increase weights in the following exercises:

Single-Leg Squat - 17.5lbs to 20lbs, equals a combined total of 40lbs
Heel Squat - same as above

Weights use in this circuit: 7.5, 10, 12.5, 20
Focus: biceps/triceps, glutes, and legs

Today is a cardio day so I decided to do Debbie Sieber's Cardio Sculpt Express. This dvd combines cardio with light weights. Debbie recommended using 3lb and 5lb weights during the strength exercises. I used all 5lb but when she switched down to 3lb I was able to still use the 5lb most of the time or dropped it completely and flexed my muscles to make up for it....LOL! She definitely kept your heartrate up (sweating all over) and there was NO break considering this is a 38min workout.

When I started this dvd my thoughts were this is too easy but then my body started to heat up and Debbie didn't slow down...LOL! Glad that I selected this workout this morning.

Worked 3hrs in the garden (9:30am-12:30pm) burning approximately 702 calories

This morning was a Push Circuit 2 (Chalean Extreme). I will say that Push circuits are my favorite. I went up AGAIN in weights on one of the exercises out of the nine. I went from 10lbs to 12.5lbs doing the Single-Leg Tap Lunges; on 6 out of 9 exercises I am lifting as much or HEAVIER than the modifier chick....LOL!. This is the last week of this particular Push Circuit in the Lean For Life Phase.
