Yes Leslie was my only choice for exercise and weight loss for many years. I've been doing Leslie since 1999. I have since branched out a bit more (but not too much) doing light workouts with Jessica Smith (but only her light ones) and some tai chi on YouTube. I have some balance issues and Leslie goes easy with that, no dipping your head. I do her slower workouts. I exchange time for instensity--I try to exercise longer amounts of time as opposed to more intense workouts. I now have arthritis so I am adjusting to that as well.

I have 7 of her DVDS and some of them feature multiple workouts. I have also done some of her workouts on YouTube.

Yes I did. I lost about half of my weight goal back in 2007. But then it stalled out massively for almost 3 months. I turned my focus to mostly strength workouts and while the weight loss was slow, I lost 2 or 3 jean sizes in 3 months. I used Cathe Friedrich DVDs for strength with a little step aerobics and kickboxing thrown in. I still did Leslie, but I really needed to rev my metabolism.

This time strength is more of the focus. Some weeks it's 50/50 focus and others its a 2/3 focus. Cardio burns calories and improves much of your health. Strength also improves health dramatically and it boosts your metabolism. 30+% of the weight you loose will be in the form of muscle if you focus on diet alone or cardio. It's a give and take.

Everything can be offered up as a sacrifice. All of this. It can, it will, in the long run benefit not only me, but my family as well. It's a worth-while sacrifice no matter how long it takes. I must look for His glory in all of this.

I use Leslie as my choice but I also use Jessica Smith, free weights and a yoga app. I do challenges too. For instance, this month I'm doing a 30 day butt challenge.

Just get moving!

Has anyone used her videos for weight lost only? Other than eating better, have you only used her videosas your only form of exercise. I love to walk and I have lost my willpower and motivation to do any kind of exercise but with around 80 to 90 lps to lose and I'm about 5'1 and I'm 48 years old. I want to start back at it> I have a few of her videos and I have a treadmill. I have no excuses to not exercising but being lazy. I work 40 hrs a week and I do a lot of walking there. I was just curious if anyone just uses her videos as your choice of exercise.

I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!
