I want to make a confession... I am scared to weigh myself... I have been doing this program since January 9th and I haven't weighed myself since... I think that my hips feel smaller and my energy is so much better, but I don't want to get my hopes up and then fall short of them. Before starting sparkpeople, it made me SO depressed whenever I weighed myself... and it would go on for weeks. I think I just needed to get it off my chest, but I am willing myself to buy a new scale on Monday.. and if I can't, I had my husband promise to get it for me. I have got to get over the fear and show my self that I am making a big progress in this fight against my weight. emoticon

I am starting my day out a little late.. I wanted to be up early and walk, but I couldn't get myself up.. I think that I am going to take my dogs for a walk and see if it will help get me going.. I think that I need to motivate myself more... That is the one thing that I am going to work on this week.. :)

I feel okay, I've been sitting in class all day going crazy, so I think i'm going to eat myself a snack and then go walk/run on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes and then do some homework and cook some dinner. Today I have struggled with my cravings, but I did not cave to them. They had pizza at school today for the student nursing fellowship and while I was in the meeting everyone around me was eating it, but I said no! Pizza is one of my vice's and it killed me, but I'm proud of myself for saying no and not caving into it. Soo I think I deserve a emoticon for that!!

Keep on sparking everyone, so we can be skinny!!!

Today I'm sad and emotionally drained. A short term relationship I was in ended this past weekend. No matter how prepared you are for the end, and no matter how much you know this is the right course of action, it's still a tremendous heartache when it's all said and done. My Zumba class last weekend couldn't cheer me up! Looking forward to bright days ahead and Zumba on Friday :-|

I feel pretty good for a Monday. I intended to get up early and walk on the treadmill, but that didn't happen
:( I have a hard time getting up in the morning and want to start doing my excersizing before work. I ate a good breakfast and am trying to keep myself DETERMINED to succeed "this time". Hope everyone has a good week!

I feel lost this morning. I have fallen so off plan, I don't think I have a plan any more. I still log on to SP every day and do the trivia (I am obsessed about succeeding at the trivia.), but I have not been logging my food and I fell last week and really hurt my foot, so I have not been exercising. I need to take some time for me today and put some effort into making a plan to lose weight and get fit.

I feel absolutely wonderful. I have lost 9.2 pounds as of this morning, since January 3rd. I am not trying to lose it all in a couple of months but slowly so that I have a better chance of keeping it off. I went out last night and I did have a few beers but instead of my normal BudLight, I had Bud Select 55 which is 55 cals instead of the 110 in my usual. Went to eat afterward and had an eggwhite western omelet with whole wheat toast. It is nice to know that even after a couple beers I can still make wise choices..hehe. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hope everyone is doing well today. Today was awesome: slept in (no school today!), and now getting ready to leave the house. Yesterday was a great day-- my best friend is letting me borrow her elliptical trainer since she has a wii fit. Pretty stoked. Did 20 minutes and burned 424 calories! Woohoo

LOSE4MEONLY, my suggestion is to come to terms with the fact that you'll be over your calorie count today. There's still plenty of hours of day and if you're anything like me,trying to starve yourself will just make you think more about food. It'll probably affect your sleep too if your stomach is still gurgling. If you're still feeling guilty why not add some more cardio tomorrow to get back on track? Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint. There will be bad days but we'll still survive

I can't believe how I screwed up my fat count last night. I have been doing great listing and eating in my nutrition counter and staying within my ranges. Then I had some dressing on my salad (creamy pesto).......58 g of FAT UGHHHH and I didn't even like it. My usual is garlic lemon juice and olive oil! So I'm sending that dressing to someone who needs it!!
