I did the points only program. No flexability. Along with that program and spark I was able to get to goal. I guess I need to get back on track and look at my old material.

Wondering who is still on this site.I am back to sparkpeople along with weight watchers. Seemed I did best when I was on both. This causes me to track my food. I have used both the phone and paper to track but it seems unless I track on sparkpeople I am not diligent about it. I see some of the names that I recognize. It will be interesting to see who responds to this post.

icecub... that chicken and veggies sounds soooooooooooooo good wow! very tempting :-)

I agree that tracking DOES help whether one is tracking portions, calories or points... it just keeps us mindful.

I must admit I never tried a veggie plate... can you share what that entails please when you have a moment? :-)

Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday, yeh!!!!

Yesterday, Saturday, I was stressing out making a LIST of things emoticon to take on the trip then grocery shopping at Walmart to take food with me for me and my son and the dogs while we stay at the hotel... thank goodness the hotel has a microwave and refrigerator IN the hotel room. Yes there are restaurant's and Walmart in the city I am traveling too BUT... I don't want to be stressed out trying to find these places in a city I am not familiar with AND it saves money to bring one's own food :-)

So I packed up "several suitcases" lol

Waves hello to everyone :-)

I found HIGH FIBER Oatmeal 10g Fiber, yeh!!! ... its delicious. Comes in a packet, has TEN, yes 10 grams of fiber in one packet, add one cup of water, pop it in the microwave and one minute later you are eating soothing, hot oatmeal, warming up your tummy :-)

Just stopping by to say hi. Not much going on here just been busy with family and stuff. I been cleaning and doing laundry. Been using the spark people app to log my food. I try to post when I can as for some reason I do get on the computer much. I been giving it a rest lately. It looks like it gonna rain here again. I swear it been raining a lot these past couple of weeks. Well they said California needs water so it getting a lot of rain that should help. Hope all is well with everyone...

I just rejoined for the 10lbs in two months sale. Maybe that will motivate me. Was off WW and tried the Dr. Phil plan. Lost 23 lbs but gained half of it back after a vacation shortly before holiday binging! Tried to go back on it, but it's not really family friendly. Husband and adult son would make their own meals but they were so unhealthy and I hated to see that. WW, IMHO, is easier to do with family members in the house.

Hi Sorry I haven't been around since Aug. Been busy with family and stuff. Well Since the last time I had a birthday and now I am 49 and doing good. Hubby and I are trying to work things out. We don't want to throw away 16 years so we seeing a marriage counselor. The kids are all doing good and doing well in school. My son loves football he still playing and even had two games when he even started in. He been doing the kick off and he loves it. I am still logging my foods with the spark app. I also have been doing the 310 shakes and love them. I have my youngest daughters birthday coming up on the 22nd cant believe she gonna be 8. Just stopping by to say hi. Hope all is well with all...

Morning Team, Kids go back to school tomorrow and the smoke finally cleared up in our area. They said they have the fire 40% under control so that good news. My son had his first football game Friday and he was excited that they won they first game. It starting to cool down some so it not too hot we been in the 90 all weekend. We went grocery shopping Sat and it was really nice out. I actually felt a breeze and it felt so good. Today is laundry day so I better get to it lol. I have a bunch of clothes to wash. I have one daughter who changes her clothes at least 6 x a day. Every time I turn around she in a different outfit. She my little diva you know. My two boys and one daughter she more of a tom boy, you have to tell them to change others wise they will stay in one outfit all weekend long. My little girls who 7 and 9 they not too bad they stay in one outfit the whole day unless they in the pool. But mostly they in their swimsuits all day. Just wanted to stop by and say hi to all and to let you all know We all okay here...

Evening Everyone, Well today got paid and we went food shopping and we saw a big fire off one of the highway. they said it burned over 1500 aches and was out of control. They were blocking streets so we had to go a different way. I feel bad for the people who live in that area you know. We was a bit cooler today we reach 97 so not too bad. The kids are so excited that school is Wednesday. My other son don't start still Aug 15th for his high school. We pretty much have everything for them. I got each two outfits and sneakers and backpack filled with supplies.
Today I did some pool exercises that was fun. It was different so I enjoyed it. My in-laws come back from their vacation as they went to NY to visit family and hubby going tomorrow night to pick them up from the air port. Everything is good on my end just been relaxing and enjoying what time I have left with the kids before they off to school. One side of me is happy that they going back and the other said eof me is not. Anyone one else feels like this??
Well hope everyone is well and doing good. I am off to watch a movie with hubby. Night all

Hi well it hot here and I am just trying to stay cool. The kids are in the pool and I am trying to relaxed. I figure I take my time for me even if it only for ten mins you know. So I figure I stop by and say hi here on spark. This week my son started going twice to football practice as he now goes from 7 to 10 in the morning and 3 to 5 at nights on Mon , Wed, Fridays. on Tues and Thurs he goes from 7 to 10 only. and he has the weekends off. He also gets his uniform this week too. He loves it and that all that matters.Plus it help keep him busy too. Well my other kids all are ready for school which starts on Aug 10th. I just can't believe summer is almost over. Me and hubby will be celebrating our 16 year Anniversary on the 5th of Aug. We just gonna stay home and have a nice dinner just the two of us and watch a nice movie after the kids goes to bed. Plus where we live all the restaurants close up at 9:30 pm anyway so it hard going out as we live in a very small town. We use to the big city where places stay open late. So living in a small town is a lot different.

Morning, Well I am the only one up in my house so far. Yep the kids and hubby are still sleeping lol can't believe it as it 10:30 here. So I am enjoying the peace in quiet. I just made a pot of coffee and I can't wait till it done.
We did our food shopping the other day so today we just gonna stay home and relax. I might even let the kids go in the pool for a few. Then take our son to his practice this afternoon. I sure wish it would start to cool down some as the hot weather is killing my plants. but they say it will last until next week. Other then that nothing new to report.

Morning, How is everyone? Me doing good figure I stop by for a quick hello. Yesterday we took a the kids to a local zoo and I got some walking in lol. It was fun and hot. I am finding ways to be active as I hate exercising. The main thing is we spent the day as a family without being on the computers, cellphones, video games,tablets lol.

Well I do want to apologize for not logging in every day. I just been busy with the kids and hubby that I just use the spark app. to log my foods. My hubby ask why am I not using the laptop, I am like I just want to spend time with the kids before they go back to school as summer is almost over for them. With us being so hot here over 100 we been spending every single day in the pool. We even take walks late in the evening when it a little cooler. Plus I don't want my asthma to start acting up either. So far I been keeping it under control.
I am doing okay with the WW new points program finally figuring them out and I am down to 251 again from 256. I started on june 27th. So I am proud of myself. It a long road trying to lose this weight, I sometimes tell myself I will never get back to 184. Hubby tells me I will it just takes time. I now look at it this way I just want to be healthy not skinny. I am done with yoyo diets and beating myself up when I don;t see the numbers I like. I am changiing my lifestyle to be more healthy. Even me and hubby are doing better now as we don't fight much and yes we been working on us too. For a while things wasn't looking good for us. Even we came a long way too. Can't believe we be married for 16 years coming Aug 5th. Now only if I can get him to get his diabetes under control that be great too, Cause his numbers are all over the place and his A1C are high. But only he can do that. Well The kids are waking up so I better get off so I can see what they all want for breakfast. I just wanted to stop by and say I am still here lol.

Hi well it been a busy week. But did get to relaxed this weekend and we spent it in the pool. My son made the football team and he a wide receiver we so very proud of him. He very proud of himself cause he came out of his comfort zone. He very shy and laid back He has asperger's. We tell him you can do anything you set your mind to.He love sports and when we got a call from the head coach saying they wanted him to try out for the high school team we was afraid to let him but after thinking about it and talking to him he wanted to give it a try. So all summer he been going to practice. He came home Friday night and told us. Just wanted to come and let you all know he made it. Thanks for letting me share and rant on.

Morning all, How is everyone day going so far? Mines is going good and it a quiet Monday here. Woke up this morning feeling good and rejoiced. I am relaxing with a nice glass of iced coffee and reading the newspaper. Figure I stop by spark and do some posting and check in. We going to be hot they said as we going up in temperatures again. My other two kids will be coming home later this afternoon from their grandparents place. The kids have till Aug 10th till they go back to school. My one son who in high school doesn't go back till Aug 15th. Can't believe how fast summer went you know. Gonna miss sleeping in lol. Hope all is well with all of yous.

Hi Wanted to check in with everyone, Not much going on here just cleaning and spending time with the kids. The kids went into the pool for a few hrs and I did some cleaning while they were in the pool. The grandparent has two of the kids for the weekend they be back home on Monday. So it just the 6 of us. It been getting cooler which is good as we not so hot . We been in the 90's all week long yea. Every night we take a little walk with our puppy Apollo who is a Rott. that we got hubby for father's day. He about 28 weeks old. So we now have 4 dogs lol, 4 cats and 2 birds,1 breaded dragon,1 red ear slider turtle,2 rabbits. I feel like we running a zoo you know but we love animals. So yea we have a big family. The scale wasn't too nice this week as I gained. Just have to keep trying I guess. I do know that I keep going over my points which doesn't help much.
