I've got a new nephew coming any day now.

Its my new niece's birthday today - as in she was born today.

So what's going on with the group for the summer? We've been blessed financially and are taking a few mini-cations. This weekend we are going to Charleston, SC for a HarborFest. We've never been and I'm really looking forward to this. It's such a blessing to re-do my childhood through my kids (Smile). I just pray that they can avoid some of the pitfalls I found myself in. OK, I'm rambling...sorry...

We celebrate all the good fathers...like my Reggie (sax_88). Fathers really don't get the respect that they should and the lack of fathers in a family is one of the main resulting in a detriment to the community.

So I raise my glass(es) to all the good men that are staying, and sacrificing, and making a difference...Salud!

also... My surgery was already 2 months ago today. I feel awesome, last Saturday I walked 4 miles, yesterday I shot some hoops with my kids! I was also able to run with out an embarrasing accident!
God is Good.

I'm able to take 2 classes this session afterwhich, I'll have 5 more to graduation!

We have 3 family birthdays this month - father in law, brother in law and my youngest will be 2!!!

Sorry, I've been MIA a bit. I'm celebrating my birthday TOMORROW! I'll be 41 (at least it doesn't feel as bad as 40 did! LOL)

Happy Birthday to all my other June b-day buddies, and best wishes to all the other celebrations!

Oh, and I have 3 graduations in my house this month too - pre-k, kindergarten, and 8th grade! Wow! That will never happen again. :)

June 12th is my daughters' last day of school :)

June 20th will be Michael and my 22nd wedding anniversary :)

So I don't forget, Happy birthday to all my fellow june birthday chickies!!! It is a great month!!!

Thank you ladies! I'm having a great birthday so far.

I just returned from lunch out with my good friend and birthday twin. We met nearly 18 years ago when our oldest kids were babies, and we just graduated those babies from high school two weeks ago. They will both attend the same nearby community college in the fall.

Tonight is my only daughter's last band concert. She's finishing eighth grade.

So, there's been a lot of celebrating around here and there's more cake to come!

My little guy turns 5 on the 28th, a mere 2 days after my 16th wedding anniversary. Ah yes, I remember celebrating our anniversary with dinner and a movie, and before the weekend was out, there were three of us!

Tracy, I had no idea your birthday was the 22nd!! Mine is the 23rd! I'll be 51 (still can't believe I'm this old!!!). Looks like lots of us mommies have June b-days.

I have several friends birthdays this month: the 3rd, 6th, 20th and 27th. Also, my best friend's grandson was born on my b-day, which is cool.

Elizabeth graduates from kindergarten on the 11th - they're having a cap & gown ceremony at school. Then, of course, we can't forget Fathers Day.

I may have more stuff this month; just can't remember it right now (must be my advanced age).

I'll be 47 on the 15th, my oldest nephew turns 17 on the 7th and my newest nephew is estimated to arrive on the 27th. My sister's getting married on the 26th. Gee, June is turning out to be almost as hectic as April was.

I'll be 49 (gasp!) on the 2nd. We'll celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary on the 28th. My sister will be 54 on the 20th. We also remember my deceased SIL and deceased MIL on their respective birthdays, the 14th and 16th.

My oldest son turns 27 on the 9th, my 28th anniversary is the 13th (where has the time gone?), and my niece, whose cancer is in remission, turns 27 also (prayer works!!)

Nicholas will be 6 on the 30th. I can't even believe it. I know I just brought him home from the hospital! My two nephews will be 4 & 8, busy month for us and let us not forget Father's day!

June is a huge month around my house. My son and 1 son in law birthdays are june 1. my brothers are June 3 & 4. Mine is the 5th. My father is the 17 th father day the 21st, another son in law on the 24th and my wedding anniversary on the 26th. No cakes please.

Drum roll please...It is my 43rd birthday today. Yes I kick off the month of June. One of my nephews turns 7 on the 5th and my sister turns 41 on the 23rd. Can't forget flag day on the 14th and Fathers day on the 21st hehe
