Well off for a weekend camping trip to Huntsville State Park, Tx to do a little geocaching (Texas Parks Geocaching Challenge) and attending a letterboxing event... will let you know how it went Monday.

Here near Bellingham, WA, I know the Chuckanut Mountain trail system has a lot of caches, especially on the trails leading up to Fragrance Lake in Larrabbee State Park. If you look at the map feature on Geocaching.com, you can tell where the trails are because the caches are arranged in a suspiciously neat order. There's quite a few up there.

In and around the Portland, OR area we have several bike paths that we call power trails. Some of them have as many as 100 caches on one trail. Its pretty easy to lose track of how far you've walked when your just focusing on heading to the next cache...and its only 600 feet away.

Trail Link is a guide to all the Rails to Trails sites. You can browse by activities (one of which is Geocaching). It also lists the trails by state. Great site!

2. www.everytrail.com/ I always check out everytrail.com when heading out to do a hiking trail. They have a bunch of attributes (including geocaching), and it is a good place to get terrain, difficulty levels and reviews on the trails before you go. Plus they have an iPhone app.

There was a request on another thread for a place to share info on geocaching trails. Please share any trails you know of here. Let's try to keep the discussion down in here - we can do that in the Geotrail discussion thread in this same forum. That way the information will be easily accessible to people.

Just copy this list and add yours to the bottom.
