Susan, that hailstone looks scary!! I bet those can do some damage to crops and property!! I was on a cruise years ago with my parents, and I would absolutely do it again – maybe not real soon with the virus so rampant right now. I have to imagine people will start to develop immunities to it, and a vaccine can’t be too far away now. Keep sending pictures! I enjoy seeing your beautiful land!!

Dave, what a beautiful creek you live near, and I love the reflection you captured of the tree! Are there fish in the creek? I live with three boys and they are all avid fisherman – mostly catch and release, but if they happen upon some walleye or crappie, those are coming home for dinner : )

INGMARIE, that’s my favorite kind of water too!! Great photo – I can hear the waves and feel the sun on this chilly Sunday morning : )

Wouldn't want to be hit by hail that size! Great pics everyone.

I tend to take our water for granted because it's mostly pretty placid, but I've been its neighbor a long time... into my eighth decade and it has always been nearby even though I have moved quite a bit. Right now I walk out my back gate and see the one in the pic... the Falling Spring Creek. It flows into the Conococheague Creek which has two branches, both of which have provided years of beauty and utility in so many ways. After the east and west branch come together, they are joined by the Falling Spring and the Conococheague then flows into the Potomac River which in turn heads for the Chesapeake Bay and from there the Atlantic Ocean. Suffice to say these shores and banks have been a happy place for me (except for a few flood scares over the years).

Wendi, Australia is incredible in many places. It is a vast country (not a little island like many think) with huge variety. You could maybe take a cruise to Australia sometime? Though I don't blame you if you also decide not to do that after all the COVID outbreaks on ships. I'll just post more photos. It was a wonderful trip that we did. I had never seen the tides do that either. It was fascinating.

I love all the inventive ways people are finding water! It doesn't freeze where I am plus we are heading into summer. The best I could do is get a hailstone picture from earlier in the month for you all. My husband picked it up from near our front window.

Great idea with the sunset through the water Jo!! Really neat effect and awesome picture!! I like the icicles through the catio too!

Great picture, WRADER!! Sometimes if you “edit” your photo and crop it just a tiny bit before you upload it to Shutterbugs, it doesn’t flip on you when you post it – not sure why it works, but sometimes it works.

Oh, Izzy, it breaks my heart to think that fire claimed that beautiful area! I think I would wait a while before I went back too! Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos!!

Susan, that’s gorgeous! It must have been an amazing trip!! What a neat effect the tide creates – I have never seen anything like that before! I always wanted to travel to Australia because I have heard how beautiful it is, but I am afraid to fly, lol.

I found some interesting water on my walk with the doggo last night – water froze while dripping off the leaves in some trees!

A view of Horizontal Falls form the air. We took a trip there in Oct 2017. It was a spectacular trip. The tides create the waterfalls which form in the squeezy bits between the rocks. This is in northern Western Australia.

Here's a view from water level. We couldn't go through the rocks in our boat as the falls created too strong a current.

These are pictures that I've taken over time while hiking up river from where I live. These are the areas the recent Archie Creek Fire burned through. I'm so afraid to go up river because the fire ravaged over 131,000 acres including these areas. I know when I do finally head up river again I'm going to be totally heartbroken.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
