I can't believe I completed W1D1 today!!! I didn't think I could "run". I'm using it on my BlackBerry and only wish I could be listening to music while I run. I'm hoping I can keep it up once school starts.

I'm glad to see there are other people out there just starting, too!

Just did w1d1 and actually loved it. I've put it off for a LONG time...been thinking about it for over a year. I absolutely hate running, but this was fun! I made it through easy enough. I was just walking/running in place though. I wonder how differrent it'll be when I actually head out for a run??? Is there a big difference?

Overall Goal...150 lbs by New Year's 2016

Current Goal...179 lbs to get out of the 'obese' category!

Exercise is the key. I always forget that. If I'm exercising, I don't want to overeat. I know that is true. I will continue to exercise!!!

I finished my 3rd time for the first week. I have a tracker on my itouch on the distance I when I finished the 20 minutes it wasn't very far. I continued on for another 10 minutes and went for 3.8 km am I suppose to going the 5k immediately or do I work up to that. I am going to continue 1 more week on the routine on am doing. I am really getting a workout but I feel great.

Samantha- I do belong to a gym and I did start yesterday doing arm strengthening and boy do I feel it today!!! I figure my legs are already getting a good workout so I am not worried about that right now.

DIANNMPETERSON - great job!!! I just did w1 d3 today too but I may repeat w1 next week too!

I am doing week one day 3. I have survived the treadmill ordeal 2 days. I feel great it gives motivation by being told what to do and not just doing it on my own. I tend to be to easy on myself.

Next week I am going to start incorpirating more than just running. Do you belong to a gym? If so you might want to take some type of strength training classes or bootcamps if classes like that are available. Also, it could be a good idea to buy like 2 30min sessions with a personal trainer just to get them to show you how to use weights if you are not sure what to do.

Thats awesome Michelle! I was supposed to do W2D2 today but something came up. I will pack my gym bag for tomorrow after work....luckily I am a manager of an athletic club!! No excuse for me to not workout after work! Keep up the awesome work! We are RUNNERS!!!
