my mom and dad and my mother-in-law like to bake and give to us so we have lots. we spent all sunday decorating cookies with my sisters, nieces and nephews. there was a lot of laughter and singing. it was so nice to do together. meant more than the treats for sure.

No baking for me, but years ago, when I worked at an educational farm, I did a public gingerbread program at Christmas. The kids would roll out the dough, cut it out and I would bake it. When baked, the kids would ice it. I was actually in the New York Times for the program!

I don't think so. I'd end up eating them.

have done baking for giving to elderly shut ins and a few people who would not have home baked goodies. Have delivered most but will deliver the last few packages next week.
I don't like baking cookies so my baking is more along the line of squares and muffins. Did jewel squares, nutella brownies, buttertart square, confetti square, marshmallow roll, pecan log, toffee, almond bark, o henry bar, scuffles, cinnamon buns and banana bread muffins.

Yes, baking for some elderly shut-ins. Types are sugar cookies, shortbread, molasses, coconut macaroons, macrons with vanilla filling, spritz, pecan sandies, jam thumbprints, and a couple others. We're also making 3 types of Fudge (chocolate, vanilla, & peanut butter), peanut brittle, Chocolate covered Cherries, Pecan logs, Turtles, and Pralines!
We asked them for preferences and are trying to fulfill their wishes!

Have you or will you bake Christmas cookies? If so, what kind?
