MS-MOXI: I don't really like my reflection either but can't say it bothers e much. I need to lose before my heart surgery. I'm obese+ so must get at least under 200 pounds before surgery. emoticon

Hello, my name is Holly.
I am 37, married, and live in SW Georgia.
Saw your team and wanted to join.
I am wanting to keep up with this lifestyle.
(I am on something that will last my whole life).
Wanted to encourage people while continuing to drop pounds.
My plan:

Exercise 20 to 30 minutes a day..
Depending on the foot and the joints.....
5 Freggies a day.
Water 8 Glasses a day....
Making sure I stretch and do my exercise for my challenges....
Check in with my team mates and encourage them.....
House keeping and taking care of my hubby (Chris).
(He is on here. His name is GoDawgs2020)
Trying to get things finished before we visit his mom next Wednesday.
Grace is having another brain tumor removed tomorrow.
So, making sure I am caught up on house work.
(And everyone including hubby are doing alright).
God is good though. We are praying and trusting him.
Taking it one day at a time. Hope that all of you are well.

Had a good week. Stayed in or almost (a matter of 50-100 calories off) within my calorie ranges.made it to the fitness center five days this week. Been getting good quality sleep - My Fitbit tracks not just quantity but quality and I am awake less than average, getting at least the average amount of REM and deep sleep and sometimes more, and at least the average amount of light sleep most nights but occasionally less light sleep. All of these are positives. My students were almost all out sick this week so other than having been exposed to both strep and flu before they finally kept them home, the week was less stressful than average.

Today my son and I planned to go out to lunch and shopping with my niece and her 3 year-old Claire but the weather had other ideas about that so we are staying home inside.

I don't know when I last logged in but life is very busy and my schedule is chaotic at times. I am continuing with my personal trainer, I blog regularly, and am following quite a few challenges. I have been losing weight and exercising, meditating, sleeping, working two jobs, and taking time to read and reflect. I go to church and am active in many varied roles. I make time for myself at least once or twice a week. I am content and happy with my life.

Day 1- goals will start posting results ea. day as I want to succeed.

Time to refocus on my goal and beyond.

I successful lost to a goal weight but been struggling with maintaining too far above goal.

in tops we are give a 10 pound maintenance. Today is a pot luck so need to be cautious of what I take.

So for this week I will focus on Journaling and counting my exchanges wish spark people diary did exchanges as I am on 1500 exchange so I get 5 proteins, 4 veggies 4 fruits 2 milks 6 starches and 6 fats.

actually don't thing there is any site that does. so I do paper and pen.


here is what I will work on this week.

Journaling and counting exchanges the whole day
10 minutes of exercise 3x a week I am starting slowly
Track water drank
Weigh daily. starting tomorrow.

I want to get 5 lbs below goal and then maintain there before going on to lose more.
I hope to lose to 10 to 20 lb more eventually and changing goal at tops. I would like to have a total loss of 75 plus pounds at tops. of course my total loss is 100. but not counted. wish they would go back as then they see how much I did lose. as was in tops several times.

but if I get to 75 I will be happy. as for 100 I would have to be 136 which is too skinny for me. even though the charts say that is for my height.

today I will work on just journaling all eaten because with potluck It will be hard to track exchanges.

I did have half of a small soda emoticon today. Probably have the other half tonight. As a rule I do not drink soda very often. I still drink water throughout the day to get in my quota.

Lin1263, congrats on your TOPS award. I belonged to TOPS for about 7 years, even got my KOPS status. I lost that due to a business trip my husband and I were on and couldn't get to my meetings for 2 weeks. It is all right though as we had to disband shortly after that due to low membership. TOPS was my salvation at the time, I went from 162 to 130. Since I have retired I have put on 15 pounds and am turning to SP for support to try and get back down.
Keep up the good work, together we will get where we want to be!

Went up to the lake just 3 blocks from our house. Both yesterday and today we fished from the bank. Lots of walking, casting and reeling. My arms and legs can sure tell it too. Did catch some Rainbow Trout, so will have a good supper tonight!

I am enjoying this Challenge, it is keeping me on my toes with the reminders.

Joined this challenge to get myself back on track. Was ready to give up measuring, didn't want to exercise, just in a funk. Getting that email every day reminds to to check inb on Sparkpeople. Day 8 today, won weight loss contest at TOPS. For the past 3 months,13 weigh ins there was a contest to see how many weeks you would lose weight. It did not have to be consistent. I tied in first place with 10 out of 13 weeks in the past 3 months.

This challenge gives me something different to look forward to. Just started yesterday so I am looking forward to seeing a difference in me. The stretch felt good and this I will do daily.
