I have a fasting blood draw Wed (tomorrow?) so I am doing 'no sweets' for 48 hours.
I believe the triglycerides are always so high because of the sweets. We will see.

Doing well on the exercise... WE CAN KEEP ON !!

Shannon, my exercise routine has been faltering a little bit, too. Time to "Pre-Plan" my workouts ... if I schedule them, I may actually get them done. Aiming for at least 30 minutes a day (more if I can):

Well done Avery and Joyce.

I need to get back in to a routine of exercise. I have not been to the gym lately, been in some pain and of course I was gone last week. Starting Tuesday 4/17 I will get to the gym T-W-Th-F. I am not going to set a time for now as my back and shoulder are still really bothering me. Starting slow this week to see how I do.

It was a good week with exercise despite DH being in hospital....food not so much
7,000+ on 5 days with Calisthenics on 2 plus yoga twice. Still getting 5-8 servings vegetables/fruits daily. The problem is mindless eating of sweets. ***

Now I know the problem what am I willing to do about it?

How about the rest of you?? how are you doing with your exercise plan/ food plan etc.

Stating those goals helped...at least for the first week
7,000+ steps on 1,3,5,6, my fitbit stopped counting stairs...don't know about that.
So it was a good week and will continue with this plan...perhaps add the stairs.

4 days at minimum 7,000 steps and 14 'up' flights of stairs
2 days moderate calisthenics

work has a "5 fruits and veggies" thing going which I am doing

For the week of 3/25-3/31 I will get in some movement

Gym time; Not all every day but a mix of recumbent bike, treadmill, elliptical, circuit machines, free weights, I have even been adding jump roping (only about 10-25, but still)

Sun-20 minutes of anything ~ 60+ minutes of sanding by hand, 18 minutes walking
Mon-45 minutes gym ~ 52 minutes
Tue-45 minutes gym ~ 48 minutes
Wed-45 minutes gym emoticon Nope, I cleaned, painted and sanded most the day
Thur-45 minutes gym
Fri-grocery day so I will be on my feet for about 4-6 hours, 10000 steps
Sat-20 minutes of anything


This week did NOT go as planned, try again.....

For the week of 3/11-3/17 I am going to mix it up a little

At the gym I mix it up a bit too....always recumbent bike then I mix it up daily with weight machines, aerobics, treadmill, elliptical, free weights

Sun-Calorie limit 1500 emoticon , 5000 steps emoticon
Mon-Gym 45 min, Steps 10000 emoticon taking a day off, lower left side of my back is hurting.
Tues-Gym 45 min emoticon Calorie limit 1400 emoticon Steps 10000 emoticon
Wed-Gym 45 min emoticon decided to do some things outside instead, Steps 10000 emoticon

For the week of 3/4-3/10 I will pre-plan my exercise.

This time I'm not going to put what I'm doing on what day. That doesn't seem to ever work for me. For this week, I will do:

2-3 HIIT workouts
3 yoga or Tai Chi workouts
5 days of walking 45 minutes or more
2 sessions on my exercise bike
1-2 rest days

Sunday (3/4/18): 40 minutes of yoga, 20 minute outdoor walk, 45 minute walk on treadmill emoticon

Monday (3/5): HIIT, 45 minutes treadmill

Tuesday (3/6):rest day

Wednesday (3/7): HIIT, 47 minutes treadmill

Thursday (3/8):

Friday (3/9):

Saturday (3/10):

I am going to continue to do this one, I LOVE IT!

PRE-PLAN

For the week of 2/25-3/3 I am going to pre-plan my exercise

Sunday - Treadmill or elliptical 10+ minutes and 5000 steps emoticon
Monday - gym 45+ minutes (recumbent bike, weight machines) and 10000 steps emoticon
Tuesday - gym 45+ minutes (recumbent bike, treadmill) and 10000 steps emoticon

Wednesday - REVISED 12000 steps ~ bill and errand day so I had to revise, errands are usually 5-8 hour day since I live so far away from everything. Overestimated my day only got in 10000 emoticon
Thursday - gym 20+ minutes (recumbent bike, weight machines) and 8000 steps emoticon

Friday - gym 45+ minutes (recumbent bike, weight machines, treadmill) and 10000 steps emoticon
Saturday - treadmill or elliptical 10+ minutes and 5000 steps emoticon Not the treadmill but I did walk in place for 30 minutes
