Hi Patricia
thank you for your reply. It is great that you are feeling so well on this plan.
I try to limit my drinking to once or twice a week. You hit the nail on the head, portion control is necessary with any eating plan except perhaps Atkins.
Good luck
Sunny

Hi there -
Sunny, I know what you mean about the weight loss. I am whittling away very, very slowly at the weight on this eating plan, but I feel very good, have good energy, feel positive and am not full of cravings. I think I would lose more if I watched my portions more and if I didn't have wine in the evenings... But overall, this is a good eating plan for me and I hope to see my weight gradually going down, even just .2 by .2 on the scale.

Hi Peeps
I've finally got the book and am reading it avidly. However, this plan isn't far from the way I eat anyhow (varying among Dukan, Atkins, South Beach) and I haven't been losing that way so I wonder what's going to make the difference.

Hello,
I am about at the end of the first week and the results have been good as I lose my bloat and water weight. I love the recipes and the general approach, with some very delicious sauces that I can put over steamed broccoli, for example. I may turn into a "Lemon Tahini Sauce" junkie! Yum.

I've been pretty good about sticking to the parameters of the plan, and it is paying off. I feel good, but it also takes (as any good eating plan does) much more time in prep and advance planning. But it's worth it. I also printed off the "Simplified Meal Plan" PDF that is on the website and that's helpful in planning meals more easily. I baked up a bunch of chicken thighs yesterday so have those ready for transforming into other lunches and dinners in the next couple of days.

I am not familiar with Fast Metabolism diet. If you are losing inches, that is a very good sign. How about your energy & mood?

I did Whole 30 before this, and I was very successful at first and then I just stopped getting results no matter what.

Always Hungry is interesting. I was at a spot where I just kept trying harder with my diet with poor results and felt like I was in a constant battle. So I am enjoying the generous portions and it is wonderful to not be hungry. I played around with it some last week while preparing and this week I have been following guidelines as much as possible. My weight has been stable.

Hi and welcome!

I am in Phase 2. Doing okay (I am probably being overly generous with my portions, though). Measurements are good, weight is meh, could be better.

I had also done the Fast Metabolism diet and that one is no dairy. Hated it! This seems better.

I am just starting. It's a pretty new book, so no one (other than his pre-publication trial) would be too far yet. I read the book and am following the phase 1 guidelines. I look forward to discussing this plan with others who are trying!
