For the most part exercise is still a chore for me until I do it. Once I am in the middle of a workout (even if I have to force myself to do it), I enjoy it and ALWAYS feel better afterwards. I think it is just me being my own worst enemy. Hopefully I will reach the point in the near future where I look forward to my daily workout and becomes just a normal part of my day.

Do you like to exercise or is it still a chore to be accomplished?


FOR ME...some days it's a chore, but on the most part I love to get up and move. I do my exercises early in the morning so that I can do some other things I like to do better. Exercising is great for the body, mind and soul so I will continue to do some form of exercise each day. I try to spice things up from time to time.

My heart and aerobic capacity by doing aerobic fitness walking. I'm not yet doing toning and strength training exercises and have to start on that with my abdominal muscles, which are weak from an inactive lifestyle. I hope to add abdominal exercises in the early morning. I had a proposal for a question for tomorrow morning .. What would you buy at the supermarket for a great diet plan?

On the diet Extreme Transformation and carb cycling, with additional emphasis on increasing fiber grams to 35 g/daily and lowering fat grams daily.

I am trying to get in total body, but right now I am being a little cautious with my knee since I injured it this week. Anytime of the day that I can work out is good. It doesnt happen on days I work since I work 24 hour shifts, but I get in a lot of walking doing my job on those days so it works out.

I prefer mornings but I start work at 6am and already get up at 4:30a. I started a new plan to exercise when I get home from work- around 3p, take my shower after and if I get to stay home comfy clothes emoticon

Mornings! I, too, like to "get it over with" so then the rest of the day is mine, is free. Also, if I know I've completed my exercise "requirement," I feel I can be a bit "looser" with my food choices, knowing I have a bit of "room" in my log.

I am working to become a morning person so I can knock out my workouts before my day begins. Waiting until later in the day allows me to make up excuses or allow other things to take priority over working out. This year I vow to make time for myself rather than giving all of myself to everyone around me every day.

I'm enjoying the quiet company of my hubby & two teener boys (they're quiet on the phones, busily texting), a couple of cups of aromatic pomegranate & raspberry tea and a good book. We live in a safe, developed country (Canada), have a cozy home, healthy food and clean water, great schools, good infrastructure and safe weather (thankfully, no hurricanes, tornados, floods, etc.). We're truly blessed and I'm also grateful for the wonderful support system here at SP.

When you're stressed, what do you usually do?

Reach for food--fast!
Walk or exercise to clear my head
Relax with deep breathing, meditation or yoga
Call a friend to talk it out
Lash out at others for no reason
Go on a shopping spree


FOR ME....I go window shopping...I don't necessarily buy something. I like to see other people and look in the shops. It makes me feel sooooooo much better.

Do you like to work out with a buddy or go solo?


FOR ME.... I work out at home but love to have a buddy when I go for walks outside. It's always nice to have someone to talk too.

FOR ME....My favorite way would be eating fish. We also do most of our cooking with olive oil. I eat almonds everyday as well.

12 grain oatmeal
whole wheat pasta
brown rice

eggs
cereal (shredded wheat, raisin bran)
