I already go to a chiropractor and get massages so the only other thing I see that I might want to try is something relaxing so maybe the meditation.

Reflexology. I've had both massage and accupuncture and found them both helpful, but too expensive at the moment. My sister and brother both have reflexology regularly and it is a big help to them.

I have tried choirpractors and ended up worse off than before I went.

In the right circumstance I might try accupuncture and massage therapy.

1. Chiropractic (I have found great relief w/ this one)

2. Massage therapy (Also like this one but insurance doesn't cover this so use it seldom.)

I'd probably give all of them a shot, but I wouldn't necessarily believe they worked. Doesn't make sense does it??? But what the heck, if one of them helped just a little for just a little while, that would be some relief from the pain/discomfort!

Accupuncture
Meditation
Reflexology
Chiropractic
Hypnosis
Massage therapy
Biofeedback
Something else not listed here

I would go for relaxation like meditation. Taking some time to listen to quiet music. Or tapes with the ocean, birds, and just the sounds of nature. Ahhhhh I could go for that right now!!!

Yes, I agree with you re: Walmart. Ours was renovoted and now has wider aisles. It looks great but they have narrowed their inventory down to just a few different items of a specific food or other. Lots of time now, I have to go elsewhere to get the things I need or want. I buy generics in lots of items but there are name brands in certain foods, that I will always buy.

More and more. In fact I noticed that in our local Wal Mart it is getting hard to find brand names in a lot of things. Their cheese is down to about 3 pkgs. of Kraft and 100 of generic.
I also used to use Healthy Ones smoked sausage and it is no longer available anywhere within 50 miles at least.

Yes. Sometimes the quality is not quite so good - for example the Fruit and Fibre cereal doesn't have so much fruit in, and sometimes the baked beans have more sause than beans, but they're generally okay.

It depends on the item. I don't like the taste of the generic mac & cheese so always buy Kraft Mac & Cheese. There are some generic brands that I will buy but not others.

I have not reached my goal weight yet, but when I do, learning from this past year, I will continue to exercise and eat right. It is a must. Everything we do to reach our goal weight has to be what we can do at all times. It is a life style and if we go back we have not learned anything.

I've been up and down and am up again. I must keep myself away from the kitchen, get out and do things away from home. I just went through a time of steroids and as usual I gained weight during treatment. Now I'm trying to not only eat healthy foods, but exercise more and eat smaller portions and less often. Maybe I can get back on track. The inspiration from all of you is so important.

Becoming the healthiest me that I can be.

Well, I'm still a little ways from goal...but it's a tossup between keeping to the exercise and not obsessing about the weight. As much as I tell myself it's about health and not a number on the scale, something in me isn't quite buying it, lol.

Some of the salads they have are just as bad if not worse than the regular menu items, but you can be wise about how you order your salads

I am cautious about the salads I order in a restaurant. Some are very high calorie and would be better ordering the main meal than having a all out salad. I like to go to the salad bar and make up my own, then I know more of what I have and if I can't, I always order the dressing on the side.

What do you think about restaurant salads?

They're probably healthier than most dishes

They're just as bad as other selections

They're usually worse than regular menu items

It's impossible to tell which ones are good without looking up the nutrition facts

Something else not listed here

I like my salads that I make better. I can put lots of veggies into it. Some salads at restaurants are rather plain.
