When I first started walking, I hated it and put it off as long as I could to the point of its now or never. Now I get up, get dressed, fix breakfast, and eat it while I'm walking. Then its done for the day.

I slept in this morning. I really needed it. Yesterday there was no pep in my step on my walk. I just couldn't seem to push myself harder. This morning, It was a little later than I like in the summer, but I shaved off 10 minutes off yesterday's time. Both days was my regular 3.5 miles.

Have a good weekend!

Its suppose to rain today. But I did my usual walk early this morning and it was dry. This morning I feel like I was just going through the motion and it took longer to walk the same route than usual. Could be tiredness, or air pressure, or both. Later my fair weather walker husband and I walked a mile. This is a total of 110 minutes. I'll walk down to the grocery store later for a couple things. But its close but while I'm there, I make a point of walking the perimeter of the store. It gives extra steps. Everything adds up!

I walked as much as I can but my back won't let me walk very far.
I do more walking in the pool. which helps. I spent about an hour today.

I walked my usual 3.5 miles early this morning. The motivating moment was when a High School teacher stopper car saying that she notices I'm out walking each morning and how inspiring that is to her. Then later my husband (a nice weather walker type) and we walked about 1.5 miles. I wish I could get him moving year around. He quit smoking 8 years ago, but his 40 years of smoking took a toile on his lungs. His lungs improved after quitting. A couple years ago, he had an eye opening experience. He was winded after walking across the parking lot at Walmart. I told him That's not normal. I also told him that I walk alone early mornings because I've never found a walking partner, but his advantage is that I'll walk with him.

He can now walk a mile without getting winded! Improvement!
