Congrats on being a KOPS member for so long. Congrats on retiring!

Your the second person who has mentioned "tap dancing" as a workout. On my "Pink Flamingos" challenge team, there is a woman in Pennsylvania who is doing "turbo tap dance" as a workout. I wish they offered something like that here in Rochester NY. I have always wanted to "tap!"

I bet most of the people who go to Weight Watchers don't follow their program, especially now that they have changed their focus to "wellness."

~After reading IWANTTOSUCCEED's post thought I would re-introduce myself.
~I was on Sparkpeople a few years ago and just rejoined a few months back.
~My TOPS meetings are Thursday mornings. (a small group of 12)
~I have been a KOPS for 15 years.
~My biggest struggle is emotional eating.
~Just sold our business & retired within the last month-a LOT of stress with the transition.
~Newest hobby-Senior Tap Dancing at the local YMCA
~Lifetime member of Weight Watchers-but don't actually follow there program

I'm returning to this team after a long absence.
There wasn't a lot going on the last time I was here - hope things have picked up!

I attend my TOPS Meeting on Saturday mornings.
I have a lot of weight to lose.
I have a major problem with consistency.
I lose 30 or 40 lbs and put it right back on again?????

Welcome to the team. As you probably know the TOPS website has a lot of program ideas. I like programs with interaction with others in the group or visuals but that's just me . LOL Again welcome.

Hi, I am a member of a Chapter in Virginia. I have 40 lbs to lose and need to be more active. I seem to slated to run programs come August. I could use any tips on programs and tactics for new members.

Welcome Becky. Glad to have a new member to this team and to the TOPS family. I joined this team a couple of months ago-think I forgot to introduce myself as a new member at the time. My name is Stella (from Ohio). I just had my 15 years as a KOPS at the end of February. Our area captain just paid our chapter a visit. She handed out yearly awards and I was able to receive my 15 year KOPS charm from her. Hope you have great success with TOPS. Whatever comes - don't ever give up!
