Snarky tip of the day: If you are trying out a rowing machine for the first time in order to do something different, wear gloves and bring something cushy for your butt to avoid blisters on your hands and a very sore tush! Geez!

For those of us who work out in the morning, set your workout clothes out next to the bed the night before, it's one less thing you'll have to do in the morning, and one less excuse to keep you from getting out of bed.

To help keep track of your water intake for the day, put 8 rubber bands or hair ties around the top of your water bottle. Every time you drink 8 oz. of water, slide one of the bands from the top of the bottle to the bottom. For me it works as a motivator and I use colorful rubber bands to make it look more interesting.

TIP: It's not hard to find time to exercise. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone~Go for a walk to the park with a friend or the kids or whoever~maybe ride bikes~go swimming. It's not necessary to spend hours at the gym to get a productive workout and receive the benefits. Take 10 mins to jump rope and alittle while later turn on the radio for 10-15 mins and just dance. Have fun!!! Two -three bouts of 15-20 mins each is just as effective as 60 mins at one shot. Not only does exercise improve your body it improves your mental function!!
