I turned 49 this past fall and was frustrated to realize that I've been struggling with the same 20-30 pounds for the past 13 years. I weighed in @ 156 this morning and my goal is to be @ 125 by my 50th BD in October. Of course, I look forward to feeling more comfortable in my own skin but this goal is about entering the last 1/3 - 1/2 of my life with the best possible health. I'm using this jumpstart to help get me going in the right direction. BTW, I enjoy reading your posts and goals...you rock! :)

That's the right attitude! I began seriously last April and lost 30 pounds in 6 months time and am jumpstarting the new year to lose my final 50! One day at a time and tracking food really helped me. Good luck on your journey - I know you can do it!

Today is my first day of the Jumpstart Workout Challenge.
I have tried loosing weight in the past but I haven't stayed with it.
I lost 24 pounds about 6 years ago but gained it all back.
My plan for this year is to loose 30 pounds. I plan to exercise and eat right
as much as I can. I am claiming 2012 as my year to get serious about my health
and weight lose.
I am planning on ushering in a new me in 2013, Here I goooooooo! emoticon
