I spent the weekend with my mom and one of my sisters and hit the grocery store for some fresh veggies so I wouldn't overindulge in all the fatty, sugary things I knew would be at the house.

emoticon Feel like I'm going through the motions pretty well but expecting the scale to disappoint me again when I weigh in on Monday. I'm heavier than I've ever been, which should allow me faster weight loss, I rarely see that. Eating low fat this time (20 grams of fat or less) so we'll see how that's been working on Weigh-In Monday. Got my fingers crossed! emoticon

As the year winds down, I am taking EVERY moment to remember to "BE ME" emoticon . Sometimes life's activities get in my way. I am SO blessed that I could take yesterday off from my wonderfully hectic life & enjoy just living, eating as my body requested, healthy of course. (I had stressed my back & needed to rest it AND I did listen!) Lucy emoticon loved our walk emoticon , it was investigative, rather than hurried emoticon . I didn't go to Zumba emoticon , I write about this, because I NEVER miss this fun, lively class. I had an in depth talk with DH & was able to write a blog. emoticon I joined the January fitness challenge & will start Jan. 4, 2015. My goal is to get back to goal & stay there for the rest of the new year! emoticon Today I feel GREAT, well rested emoticon & ready for some more! emoticon Happy Friday! It's date nite with DH emoticon & today is a Christmas party with my Uncle for lunch emoticon & working emoticon of course! I'm off to do my Sheppard Pilates DVD emoticon walk LUCY & get on with my day! Be the health you want & I will too! Ps.... Lucy bird emoticon says hi! too all!

I guess if I was giving out a grade I would say a C, sometimes I work at and do well others I guess aren't as important I dont know. But I am pushing forward, each day is a new beginning.

Janis Spark Coach got me moving again. It kept me on my toes and I was able
to lose 4 of the 5 lbs they said I might and then went on to get back on track. So it
was useful. It is a range of things to follow each day to get and keep you on track. It has been a year and a half since I used it.

However, may need it again as I have been over a year below goal and today I am right at goal instead of below. So needless to say I am not happy with my progress today but that will change.

Fair, not where I thought I would be, but I did accomplish two goals, walking my 3k then my 5k so that makes me feel good. I seem to lose then gain it back the next week. Thinking of working on strength and flexibilty and forget weight, maybe then I will lose.
But I am determined and I will not give up emoticon

I am satisfied with my progress at this point. I know I could have done better but I am eating much better than I use to.

A trip to Germany got me off track a little as did an accident last week that requires surgery this week. But I am holding my own, doing what I can to stay active.

It is difficult to avoid the holiday baked goods and candy but I have done pretty well restricting myself somewhat.

It will be at least a month before I get the cast off and can lift weights again. I really intend to lose weight this holiday season regardless.

Maintenance is turning out to be harder than I anticipated. Not because it's difficult, but because it requires a level of diligence that sometimes seems more than I can keep up with. I have to generate my own positive feedback system, because there's no moving scale numbers or improved health or new clothing sizes - just maintaining (good) and not maintaining (bad). Maintaining is just not as sexy as losing.

I feel I've made allot of progress. My goal of getting thru work without major pain has been achieved. emoticon Also I can now walk to and from work (1/2 mile each way) But I still need to lose at least 10 pounds to be at a good weight. Currently running from 178-175 pounds.

I am looking for some feedback. I have had a very difficult time getting motivated, even though I'm exercising every day, I'm having a very difficult time with food. I would like to say I have it all together and everything is going well, but that isn't the case.
I'm trying to pick out the right diet that will satisfy my hunger and be one that I'm so excited about. Does anyone have an idea I can bite into? emoticon I need to push forward and not backward. emoticon I appreciate the thoughts of others.

I feel great. I lost 11 lbs. from October to October of this year. Now I'm maintaining it. Once I weighted 152 lbs. So I lost 19 lbs all to gether. Maintaining it is hard work. I feel better about it.

Feeling good, as even though it is inching down 2 ounces at a time..it is downward and not upward. I was so fearful of going over goal, especially with the Holidays coming. Now have a more positive outlook and am still under goal.

My weight loss has had a bit of slow start, but I am eating better, exercising more, and sleeping better. So even though it's been slow going, I feel really good.

I feel ok. I've been having some knee pain lately unfortunately. So I limited my walking yesterday. Also my tracker had problems yesterday so my step count was off alot.

I am feeling pretty good, calorie wise I don't always do well but am keeping up with my exercise because I decided to train for a virtual 5K walk (I am not running too old for that). With doing exercise I feel stronger, have more energy and basically feeling very good.

Yes, the best is to never give up. I just joined this team and have gained 20# after losing 67# here with SP and 12# before. I joined SP in Sept. of 2011. I plateaued forever it seemed in 2012 and pretty well gave in, but didn't totally give up and little by little the pounds crept in. So here I am knowing that this will help me be more accountable. It's so easy to let it slide, but that's not the answer in the long run. I have a disability that makes it hard to exercise and am scheduled for a complete knee replacement on Dec. 15th. I'm looking forward to hopefully walking again one day with more success then just a little bit!! So with being in this situation, I need to watch more what I eat and some days are better than others. I just need to have the majority of my days to be good ones!! Don't we all??!! I need the help and I feel that I will get it here!!
