Hi Deanna! I will have a chicken breast with cucumber slices, hard cooked eggs, or some veggie tuna salad. I know that sounds weird but if I've got the munches, I need protein. Sometimes I will drink a whey shake and eat the hard cooked egg too. You're doing great lady!

Yogurt with a bit of sweetener and some cinnamon is my "go to" snack when I have the afternoon munchies. It totally fills the void for me. One day I had yogurt with a tsp of low sugar chocolate milk mix (nesquik). It's still a bit if sugar but it was dreamy and just what I needed.

Eat your fruit at 2:30 then...you don't go to bed until after 12, so 2:30 won't hurt anything. Also, since you are on C1, eat some protein in the afternoon too....maybe a hard boiled egg or some chicken slices...anything that will keep you awake in the afternoon.
Being tired is one of the detoxing symptoms on C1...I was always tired. I found myself going to bed around 9pm when I was on that cycle. Even my 2nd round of it, I felft very tired.
Hang on, things will get better...just keep pluggin' along.

I work from 8:30 till 4:30. i take my lunch from 12-1. We are suppose to take a morning break and an afternoon one as well. The afternoon break doesnt come till 2:30 so that is after the time but just barely.

I did notice that today I was getting very sleepy around 3:30-4:00 for some reason. I would normally go get a cup of coffee to try and wake up. i still had to drive home...lol.

Angellinda, your post is similar to my day. I have customers in and out of my office all day. trying to set aside time to eat a snack is hard when my schedule changes from day to day. Once the cycle progresses i will find the right mix to make it work. I go to bed around 12 each night. I know this is not getting me my 8 hrs of sleep but when your other half works second shift and you work first, the only time you get to see each other is for a few minutes after he gets home. i have been thinking of taking a nap sometime in the evening but that doesnt work because i am so busy with the boys and meetings.

I hope i can find a happy medium as this progresses.

I try to eat my 1st fruit with my breakfast or at around 10:30 for a morning snack...my second fruit, I take to work with me and munch on in between customers. Sometimes, I don't get it finished until I go for my break at 2:45...but I don't go to bed every night by 11, so I think a little late is better than no fruit at all. Just don't eat it after 3:30 or 4pm...but that is my opinion...and I have been known to be wrong lol

I'll usually have my second fruit serving right at 2 (which I forgot today :[ ). I like to save my last yogurt serving until later and treat it as my ice cream dessert lol :)

Everyone has already given you excellent suggestions. What time do you work until? The 2pm rule is for those who get up earlly and are in bed by 11pm. If you work and go to sleep later, you can adjust that time accordingly.

I usually have one of my servings of greek yogurt for the afternoon. I'll sometimes also have a hard boiled egg with some fresh veggies.

Hi there,

You're right, you can't have fruit after 2pm. For that time of day, I usually have one of my two servings of yogurt (around 3pm). I eat greek style yogurt (full of protein) so it usually holds me over until dinner time! If you'd rather have the yogurt at another time, I suggest a big bag of raw veggies (cucumber, green beans, carrots, celery, etc).

Yogurt sometimes works for me. But I remember someone stating that they would have an extra piece of fruit. Not encouraging you to cheat but better to eat the fruit after 2 than to be miserable. IMHO Dimi

What does everyone munch on after 2pm? I have heard that when you reach a certain cycle fruit after 2pm is not allowed. I am getting the book after work today but I wanted to find out what everyone makes or buys for those munchie/snack after lunch. I have a desk job and after 2pm is my weakness emoticon
