Left the house at 9:30 and did not come home until 3:30... appointments and errands kept me quite busy!

So, nothing got done at the house, except to stow groceries and other purchases, enter all the receipts into Quicken, and file the receipts.
Tomorrow I will get things done!

If you will wear them, keep them and wear them.
If you will not wear them because they are from Walmart. etc, get rid of them.

I'm not sure what to do with a couple pairs of my shoes, I believe they are still wearable, as they are not falling apart, yet emoticon but, they are not the good name brand type, just walmarts or kmarts

Yesterday I kicked laundry's butt... all washed, dried, and put away. I also did the ironing and the mending.
Today I tackled more boxes that are from the move. Some things were put away, many things are ready to be donated next time I go to the Thrift Shop.

I would never participate in a program like that.
$30/month is $360 every year, that may or may not be used.

Why not simply start your own emergency fund... putting in $30 every month?

Looking for an answer/help. My electric company has a program where they will either repair or replace an appliance if needed, from time to time, they send out checks if the check is cashed or deposited then your automatically signed up, I just received one of those checks, I really would like to do this, but it would be about $30.00 over my reg. billing monthly. Although my DD gives me a few dollars a month to help out and I am on a fixed income. So, I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas or help from here would be appreciated for me to know what to do, thanks

My big big big accomplishment for the day was to balance my checkbook. I usually do it each month, but had let is slide.
But today I worked thru is and got it to the penny.
WAHOO - I'll never let it slide again.

Now I starting a new charity quilt and hope to get pieces cut out today.

I'm still on track and getting things done.
I just have a few papers to pick up and toss.
Feels good to be organized.

Yesterday I tidied up the bedroom and went through all our DVD's to give some to the neighbor's children. Lots of Veggie Tales my kiddos have outgrown.

I'm doing pretty well, it helps me to have a to do list - it keeps me on track. I don't always complete the stuff on my list each day........ .but still feel organized and tracked.
Being retired, it doesn't matter if I don't complete all the stuff on my list each day.
LOL

October is here.......
How did you do last month?
I think I did really well keeping things put away and the kitchen clean.

My next focus is going to be organizing the computer/sewing room and try to eliminate a lot of "junk" I have been holding on to....... the closets are packed.......gotta let go.
