End of the month and I have managed to stay organized and "picked up" for the whole month. My cleaning lady (comes every other month for deep cleaning) was MIA and I couldn't reach her..... started to panic, but heard from her today.
Whew.
I really love her deep cleaning and I just need to do daily pick-up and keep things organized.
End of the month.

How did you all do for March?

Spring cleaning time!
Today, the powder room and the library.

Everything dusted and scrubbed.
NO clutter anywhere; nothing in either room that does not belong there.

Paint touched up where there were a few nicks and scratches.

I am visiting my 28 year old teacher son who lives in FL. He is on spring break this week, but he stays very busy with class planning and doing courses to get his master's degree. I cleaned his efficiency apartment top to bottom today and we organized his clothes closet and living/ dining area together. Organized his refrigerator when I cleaned it out. Did 4 loads of clothes, including area rugs. Tomorrow will be a travel/ fun day...no cleaning and organizing :)

Got all my old maternity clothes (my youngest is 11!) in a bag to donate, sorting through the small collection of baby clothes that I wanted to keep to try to weedle it down to just a few favorites. I'll wait until the kids are home from school so they can see just how little they were (2 were preemies, they are 15, 12, 11 now)

Did my oldest son's laundry, folded and put it away for him (just to be nice)

I've been staying at my brother's house - dog sitting. Haven't done anything at home, but keeping my stuff that I take to my brother's house organized.
Couple more days and I'll be home to my own place.
The dogs are so sweet and loving, but they snore at night. LOL

I have a part time job cleaning our church school and gym. This morning I cleaned all the bathrooms in the gym (there are 3 with a total of 7 stalls and 2 urinals). Then I went next door to the school and cleaned the 4 bathrooms in the classrooms.

At home I did a large load of laundry and cleaned/ organized inside the refrigerator and it's freezer. I tried a couple new recipes today and had plenty of dishes to load in the dishwasher and do by hand. All are dried and put away.

Definitely a productive day. Early this morning I took the recycle and trash to their respective places in town. Then I drove to my daughter's over an hour away to clean her home...laundry, dishes, floors, entire kitchen and bathroom, diningroom, young grandson's bedroom, and livingroom. My daughter is fighting cancer...has had chemo, surgery and is now halfway through radiation. It has really drained her energy.

I had a pretty productive day too. I finally unpacked 3 boxes that were still from our move last June. I was able to recycle some papers, have a large stack to shred, sort through office supplies and found all my old pairs of glasses and an old flip phone. I think I'll be able to donate the old glasses somewhere. They are still good, just my Rx changed. I threw out the ones with broken frames and chipped lenses.

Yay for new months and for fresh starts!!! Today was a pretty productive one. I purged several papers in the office looking for a couple forms I needed for my daughters upcoming trip. After my other daughters dr appointment I finally found the forms in a kitchen drawer 😂so thankful since they are due this Wednesday and needed to be done before my husband left for his trip

A new month and fresh start to focus on being organized.
I have all my appts. in my calendar, but do have to report for Jury duty and I don't know how that will mess up my plans and things scheduled.
