Great blog entry, Valerie! Today so far I'm okay on my calorie count (just have to be careful tonight when we do our family countdown to the new year!) and I've walked my 5K training route through the neighborhood. Tomorrow is my first 5k of 2011. Can't wait! emoticon

My day went well. I stayed within my calorie range, got in my thirty minutes of exercise and got all my water in. Now to hit the couch for some more rest, gotta kick this cold!!

Yesterday I did okay. I got into a battle with the pecan sandies and alas, I fell, but I didn't go over too badly. I got in all my water and 6 servings of veg!

Today is going well so far. I still need to get my workouts in, but I will.

I'll check back in later and see how everyone is doing.

How did yesterday go for anyone doing the challenge? I walked 2.5 miles with the dog (slowly, but surely!), and I made it (just barely) under my calorie count. Whew! Here's hoping today goes as well.

That's wonderful Becky!! Going over in calories is going to happen sometimes and learning not to beat ourselves up is a good habit to learn!! LOL Good walks too!!

I am glad you love this challenge! I do too because its getting me back on track before the new year. Now we can start the new year on track instead of feeling down because we ended the year badly!

That's great, Valerie! I did end up going a bit over calorie count yesterday as well, but I'm not beating myself up over it. I walked just over a mile with the dog and took a short walk with my sister.

I love this challenge!

Yesterday went well!! I did have a little slip up and I ate a piece of fudge that some well-meaning person sent home with Hubs, so I was a smidge over on my calorie range. I got in 13 cups of water though and I was through the roof with my exercise. I decided to play Wii Sports resort late last night and so at the end of the day, between both workouts I burned over 700 calories! Today the goal is to stay in range and burn just as many calories!! I think I am setting a good tone for the new year.

How did you all do??

I have a cold right now, but I am determined to exercise at least 40 minutes today!! I must burn calories! LOL I have planned out my food for the day and I have 7 freggies planned. So I am ready for this day and I'll check back in tonight!!

I've started this day feeling great! Just a short walk with the dog so far for exercise, but I'll do that at least two more times today, I'm sure. He'll appreciate not just being stuck in the backyard--real exercise for both of us! emoticon

Paying attention to calorie counts as well. Have a great day, all!

Started well, with a full 8 hours of sleep. Did have a moment this morning, but chose exercise over treats. Ended within calorie, exercise, and water goals for the day. Overall, today was a success. How did everyone else do today???
