You got your fill of Christmas stories. emoticon Good for you. Right now I'm into reading about witches. Why? I don't know but I like them. They are clean with no swear words which I like. I am now reading "The Witch Squad." Before this I read "Riddler's Edge." I really like that series.

Feel free to ask questions about anything I have listed. They were all free Kindle books through Amazon since I have to be so careful with money. Some are well written, (often early releases or older works if they are free), and some can need some major editing and get updated a number of times. Add in your own reading lists. There are starting to be numerous free fall and winter holiday season offerings.

My more recent reading has included Melting a Duke's Winter Heart by Abby Ayles, October Joy by Melanie Wilber, In God by Aphra Crescas,A Game of Chess with the Marquess by Patricia Haverton, I have Asperger's by Erin Clemens, Injury by Val Tobin, Dr Horatio and the six-toed cat by Virginia Smith and Bound Through the Ashes by Danelle Nelson.

I am now reading..."THE TO-HELL-AND-BACK CLUB" by Jill Hannah Anderson. Anyone who reads it will be sure to love it. It's about a woman in her early 40's who is a wife, mother and friend that goes through eventful experiences that will make you sad and also laugh along the way. I'm about 1/2 way through and enjoying it.

Plus it was either free or 99cents.

In a disability budget, free is really accessible, so yes I have lots too and some of the early releases may have problems and may get edited pretty soon (there are even some that look like they were never even re-read by the author before release) and some of the older books or books in series (including some cliffhangers) so reading the reviews can help making selections. Yes, I have several thousand accessible too for re-reading, recommending or even loaning locally My recent reading has included (I'm still doing some seasonal reading, but I read all sorts of things) August by Kit Morgan, Summer Fling by Sarah Madison, Bare Ass in Love by Sasha Burke, Summer Unplugged by Amy Sparling, That Eighteenth Summer by Raine O'Tierney, One Dream Only by Elodie Nowadazkij, Unfinished Business by Savannah Maris, After the Fire by Katherine Shay, Running in Heels; a fat girls story (Shown that way on the cover) by J. B. Thorne, Fires of Autumn by Kathryn La VeQue. Variety is good. I can read in assorted waiting rooms and when I don't sleep.

I'm trying to cut down on my book downloads of freebies. They are so tempting in my preferred area of mysteries. I also watch C-span book weekend nonfiction and actually pay $$ for books I can't resist. I do mostly get Kindles free samples 1st tho. I already have more than I can read unless life span increases to 120 years.

See my entries in interesting reading. Mine were from Amazon's Kindle offerings. The vast majority of items I read were free when I got them since I have very limited finances. Recent reading includes The Virgin Widow by JoAnna Marie, Building Fences by Violet Howe, The Great Wheelchair Escape by Don Crowell, Jr, Man Up Party Boy, Fated by A.S. Roberts, Filler Friend by Sara Jo, Taking a Risk by Lexy Timms, Realigned by Becca Seymour, I hate You, Remember Me by Jamie Knight, Faces by Diane Winger, PS I hate You by Winter Renshaw, Blind Mans's Bluff by Kay Lyons and Ethan the K9 Files by Dale Mayers. Check my listings in Interesting Reading. Many of them were free when I downloaded them. These are just recently read books minus a dud or or and some special interest non fiction topics.

New releases my also be offered for very short times free before they are given a price. Season changes, holidays and special events may also be times when there are are short term free offerings. An announcement recently showed up on my kindle offering seven titles, so I picked several that looked interesting and downloaded them while they were available.

If money is a problem, free ebooks can be a help. If you spot a new release or a special offering, you can get some that will soon have a price. You have to wade through some poorly edited texts and "cliff hangers" (most are labeled in the reader evaluations and often in the descriptions) where they want you to buy more of a split up book if you want more of the story. History and other non fiction and educational texts are also available. If you see a good one, post it and let others know where to find it.
