I did really great for a little over 2 months. I lost 30 pounds before I went on vacation which I already planned I was going to cheat. I gained 10 pounds back. I have had a hard time getting back to it completely. I loved it though! I had a ton of energy, lost weight in my mid section, slept better, my triglycerides got much better, and my periods got a little better. I had my periods fairly heavily and for the whole week if not 8 days but I didn't clot (which I always do). I started noticing my facial hair not being as bad. I have heard that it can take up to 6 months for those symptoms to subside. My plan is to do Keto for 6ish months or until I get to about 150. After that I am going to just maintain by eating better.

How is the Keto going for you now? Do you think it's helping with you PCOS symptoms?

Has anyone tried Keto for PCOS. I am on it right now and I have been on it for 6 weeks. I stopped taking all my meds and my blood work was decent for 1 month on. My triglycerides went down but my cholesterol went up. I am going to see what my blood work looks like in 3 more months and adjust from there. I have really enjoyed the benefits of losing weight, having more energy, and trying new things.
