A friend of mine tied a thread tightly at the base of her tag. It eventually shriveled up and fell off... it's not very glamorous but it worked for her!

Well onething about these skin tags is they can grow at any part of our body but the best part is that they are completely harmless to our body. However they still make us look unattractive if its in a visible place, when ever we are in a gathering. Therefore its very imprtant to get rid of them as quickly as possible preferably with the help of home treatments and not avoid going for surgeries

I have tried many other products in the past, but this product was the only product for skin tags that I have used that worked on my skin tags and helped me completely get rid of the skin tags on my neck and eyelids.

Skin tags are generally caused by the bunches of collagen and blood vessels which are trapped within the thicker bits of skin. It generally affects middle-aged people.

OMG yes! I hate them! They are always in "high activity" places - underarm/bra area, panty line....I had one removed by a doc where they froze it, another where they snipped it, and then two I snipped myself. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be but I haven't worked up the nerve to do that again!

YES YES! I hate these horrible things! I read once that you can use apple cider vinegar on them to get rid of them. Using a Q-tip or cotton ball just dab on the apple cider vinegar 3 times a day for 10-15 days. It should just fall off within that time! I tried this on only 1 of mine that was giving me problems (right along my underwear line) and it worked like a charm. It was a great pain-free, cheap way to remove it!

I have one in each armpit in the same exact spots. They dont bother me because they are really small. Mine are genetic too though. My grandpa and my mom both have them so its a direct line.

Ok this may be too much work for some but this also worked for me. I stumbled upon this way when a hair of mine got tangled around a skin tag near my neck. I didn’t know it was until I felt a hair tickling my neck and I pulled on it and it was really stuck so it trimmed up the hair and within days it shriveled up and fell off. I have since done it to two others. It was easier when it was an accident though.

I have a bunch of them on my armpits too. I haven't quite looked into getting them removed. But it would be nice to be able to lift my arm and not be self-conscious while wearing a tee-shirt.

yeah ummm ewwww I hate these stupid things. Just went in last week and had my PCP use liquid nitrogen on the ones in my arm pits. Ummm yeah Ouch and gross. I have to wait for them to FALL OFF. Not sure if insurance is gonna pick up the tab or not but I to am embarrassed when wearing sleeveless numbers. Right now my armpits have little red patches on them so hopefully this works, never had it done b4.

I believe i still have a few. I am very cautious of shaving. I have had these since puberty!! I thought it was something inherited since my dad had them, and some removed. I am sure I do not have to many, if so, I guess they just do not bother me.

My insurance didn't cover them but my lovely doctor cut them off anyway. It hurt a little. But it was so nice not to cut them shaving. Some grew back though. emoticon

oh yes insurance does cover them! If you are like me and you sound like you and hate them I would ask your dr. about getting them removed.
I'm pretty excited to see mine gone, emoticon

Ohhh yes I do!!! The worst ones are on my neck where little bitty kids see them if you pick them up and they always want to pull them. Ouch! I also have them in my pits, on my thighs and anywhere the elastic on my bra or underwear is. Tons of them! That's just another lovely benefit of PCOS. I haven't had the money to get them taken off. Never heard that insurance would cover them.

I do! I've got lots but mostly if I wear a t-shirt you can't see them, which is good! I went to a new PCP about a month ago and he told me that if they are bothersome, bleed, hurt, etc that your insurance will pay to get them removed. NOw if you have them and they aren't the insurance wont' because they consider it cosmetic.
I go next week to get the ones that are bothersome to me off and I SOOOOOOOOO excited!! woo-hoo!! I have tons around my armpit area and in the summer wearing tank tops or a bathing suit I feel self conscious and now I won't.
Well just wanted my fellow PCOSERS to know about it:)
