Good morning. I have some housework in my near future. I am NOT interested at all in doing it but if I don't...well, y'know it will never get done. I need to exercise today. I ate oatmeal for breakfast so I am starting the day off well. I hope I can continue with this trend.

I didn't gain but it did send my BP soaring. Double the med last night and all is well, so thinking I won't do that again soon. So many traps get in the way or should I say temptations. This was a group luncheon or I might have passed.

Hope the coffee keeps you going and all the glitches are removed from your day Linda. I am headed out to lunch at Olive Garden. My last choice but a community thing. Sodium sodium but will have the chicken at lower fat and calories and drink lots of water to wash out the sodium. emoticon

I am drinking coffee right now. I was up in the middle of the night from 3-4 am and on the computer. Maybe the coffee will keep me awake.

I have water aerobics planned today and also getting a new internet provider. I was having too many glitches before with the internet.

Yes DPeterson I do use a stationary bike and also the treadmill in our community clubhouse. Like Linda, I feel inside is the place to be in this heat. I do enjoy exercise thank goodness.

Today is a very hot and sticky day. I did get out and walk to the store and that was a bit of exercise. The remainder of my exercise will be indoors today. Hope it is a good Monday for everyone.

Have you every try a stationary bike. I have both. So when it is cold or wet. I ride the stationary.
Just a that. Because it wouln't be good for you to fall. My mom has osteoporsis. She feel and broke her shoulder. And hasn't been the same since.

DPeteerson I am afraid to ride a bike and happy you enjoy it. I tried several years ago to take it up again and kept wobbling and falling. With osteoporosis I decided the falling part was not good for this chicken hearted gal. I guess that is why I do so many other exercises to compensate. emoticon . I go remember how much fun it was though.

Thanks for pointing that out Linda. I didn't lose much the week past, but still in losing mode. Had to stop Curves for now as I strained my sternum and did some muscle mess on my upper right arm. This to shall pass. Does anyone take a day off from exercise?

I went to the doctor and will be going to a hand specialist on Monday. They will be making a new splint for me and schedule me for physical therapy 3 x wk for 4 wks. Blah!!! No surgery though. He said that surgery won't help. Too much damage to my finger.

Today I had my mammogram which turned out fine. Tomorrow I have a re-check on my finger. I fractured it 9 weeks ago and it hasn't healed properly. Hoping I won't need surgery.

I just learned that a friend and neighbor was just diagnose with stage 4 colon cancer. It reminded me and I remind you to make an appointment for a colon check. No sense being heart healthy if you hide your head in the sand. My consultation is a week from tomorrow.

They just can't take me out anymore. I went to lunch with my friends and I did enjoy it. Came home to track and find out I ate 700 cal. worth of lunch. Unacceptable. I won't beat myself up as I had a wonderful time. But salad and a protein smoothie will be my dinner tonight for sure.

I note that Linda posted she hadn't been feeling too well, and I wish for her to feel better quickly.

I am completely vegging out today, I give myself permission to have Sunday as a ME day. However, I DO NOT give myself permission to pig out. I said veg. emoticon
