I would be extremely happy for them because I would know that they are very proud of themselves and it is difficult work to lose pounds no matter how many pounds one has to lose.

Most days I can get lots of "Me time" I am retired an so is hubby. 3 days a week he takes grandaughter to college. I usually stay home an have my time with no one around to do as I please. Sometimes I go with him for the ride.

Sometimes I almost forget to take some "me" time. It's a good thing I'm retired and don't have to go to work!
I would count most mornings as "me" time when I drink my tea, watch the Today Show and read the paper!

As a matter of fact, we ARE going away this weekend.
We are going to our daughter's on Saturday to drop off our two dogs. We will spend the night and on Sunday we are going to Niagara Falls. We will return to her place on Monday and maybe stay the night. She is on March break next week.

I am brand new to this so not sure what I am doing...so here I am....I love being a grandma...I am a step grandma to 9 children all under the age of 14. Then to my joy 6 months ago my own daughter had a baby girl! I now have to get healthy for the both of us! Now I need to exercise because so far I have lost 14 lbs. I don't look at fitness magazines

Personally I don't have any fitness magazines. Years ago when I was younger I subscribed to the SHAPE Magazine but did not actually follow any exercises. Way back then I did weight training outside my home.

What's the best way to enhance the flavor of healthy foods?

1. Adding ingredients like herbs, spices, soy sauce or salt.

2. Buying high-quality ingredients to being with (fresh, local, organic, etc.).

3.Using the best cooking method to lock flavor in the food (broiling, grilling, etc.).

4. Including some healthy fat to help carry the flavor.

5. Other (let us know your method!)

I don't really cook - my DH does most of it (thank goodness!) and he usually uses dryed, but likes to use fresh when he can get it.

I walk everyday, but, I have to drive most other places I go... I live in a big city,... some of my work clients are clear across town... 15-30 miles or so....unless I work from home.

How often do you walk or bike instead of driving?

100% of the time
Several times per week
Only on occasion
Whenever the weather is nice
I drive everywhere

I like to walk several times a week. If I can't get outside I use the elliptical machine or the treadmill.

I love your new name! :-)

My favorite would be a tie between frozen yogurt and ice cream. Yum! Though I really love sorbet in the summer- it just seems more refreshing!

I couldn't keep a stash if I wanted to- it wouldn't last long enough to qualify as a 'stash'! LOL!

We get to 'watch' our granddaughter 24/7- we're her guardians! :-D She'll be 9 in June and we've had her all but 2 months of that. We're in the process of adopting her. :-)

No my Grand Kids are all grown, the youngest are teenage boys, so they have there own things to do on the weekend. My Great Grand Daughter lives about an hour away and Mommy works most weekends so I don't get to see her much. But we all keep in touch through Face Book, and by Phone.

No....Weekends are pretty much ours. Six of my eight grandchildren live close by and we see them every weekday. Two are grown. One great grandchild lives in Indiana and our great granddaughter lives about 45 minutes away.
