SVEDUCATOR:
It's been awhile since I set mine up. It automatically syncs to the website and will alert me on my iPhone when I am close to my goal or have reached my goal. I like having that information with me wherever I am!

From the Fitbit website:
Linking to your iOS device

If you've already set up your tracker using a computer, you must link it to your iOS device.
Open the Fitbit app and log in. You'll see a pop-up screen with the message "Sync-on-the-go."
Tap Yes to confirm that you want to turn syncing on. The app will search for your tracker. You'll see the message "Linking to Fitbit," followed by "Linking successful!"
Tap Done. You can now view your stats.

SVEDUCATOR : You might want to ask that on a separate thread. I don't have an Iphone.

Yes, I also got a lot of stairs on my cruise.. too many, I'm sure! Of course I always used them .. but 167 flights in one day? And it wasn't even the day I walked so many in San Juan! I bet I got a lot running on the cruise deck when it was somewhat wavy.

I take my Fitbit One on all my cruises. It will sync to your computer when you get back. Just went on one last week.

If take the stairs, it will be amazing how many steps & stairs you get in!!

You can also sync it with your smart phones if you have the mobile apps so you can keep track of your activities while on the cruise. www.fitbit.com/devices

it will hold the data for 2-3 weeks but the charge usually lasts a week or two. so hopefully ou will bring the charging unit with you so it does not die out on you

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

Hi all - I canít find the exact answer Iím looking for at the Fitbit site so figured Iíd ask here. Iím going on a cruise next month and want to bring my Fitbit but not the syncing dongle. I plan to have it fully charged before I leave but wondering if it will just store the data while Iím gone and then sync up once I get home.
Anyone done this before?
