You can force SP to sync by clicking the "sync fitbit for today" button. It still updates overnight when you do force it to sync.

Problem solved! Sparkspeople is not applying the fitness minutes for the FitBit entry until overnight. this morning my FitBit fitness minutes for yesterday are showing up.

I'm doing a controlled experiement today. I left the phone bluetooth off, synched my FitBit via the dongle, and then updated Sparkspeople. I noticed that because I have the dongle plugged in all the time, it appears that FitBit and Sparkspeople update whenever I'm in the vicintiy of the computer with the FitBit Flex.

The problem still exists that while the "Fit Bit Tracker" numbers update on My Fitness page, they aren't crediting me with mileage or steps or fitness minutes. I'll see if they update overnight.

I reported the problem to the FIt Bit Help desk, they told me to turn on the bluetooth, which is NOT the problem. Sheesh.

I entered a help ticket with Fitbit when this happened. I got an email that stated for about 5 hours there was an issue on their end. By yesterday morning, my Flex started synching again. If you still are having a problem synching up via Android, I would suggest entering a help ticket with them.

Here's another possibility. I turned off the wi-fi and bluetooth services on my iPhone before bed last night and haven't turned them back on. I read somewhere that FitBit updated their phone apps. I'm thinking maybe there's a problem updating SP when the phone app is active.

Glad to know that it's not just me. I just switched from a One to a Flex. Thought maybe it was an issue with my flex.

okay, this is weird. It appears that sparkspeople is not updating the fit bit minutes/distance until after the day is over, ie after midnight

the good thing is as soon as the problem is fixed the information will sync over without being lost

I've read they did an update for new phones maybe it affected the Sparkspeople to Fit Bit synch.
I'm getting the steps/minutes showing in the FitBit tracker area on My Fitness page but the minutes are not being added as a FitBit entry...anyone else have this problem?
