How are you doing on meeting your weight loss goals you set when you joined SparkPeople? I've lost 50 pounds, but I'm having trouble getting out of the 170s. Still working on it, though!

Congratulations freddie! that's so great. keep it up! i weighed in today, as well. i lost 2 lbs this past month, which was good considering i've eaten terribly!

Today I was so excited to step on the scale. I had set a goal for Christmas to lose 10 pounds, then revised it and set it at 15 (16 actually). Well, I officially made my goal this week. I am down to 224.2, from a starting weight of 241.6 (for this challenge) and from 258 when I joined SP.

All I can say is that I am thankful I found this site, and I stuck with it. I dont know if I could have done it without Spark.

I sarted at 213 in Sept. & I have lost 11. I am hoping to be under 200 by New Years. Does not look like it is going to happen by Christmas. That was my original goal.

Exciting week. Even with TOM just having left, I was down from 229.8 to 226.4. I am less than two pounds from my year end goal!!! When I make it, I am just going to keep on going too, cuz I love the way I am feeling!!!

Gosh darn....poooopy, gained .4 ounces. This is my first set back, I'm completely good with it, it could have been worst...this will just push me til next weigh in. I must admit one to many cut out cookies....a girl has to enjoy some treats at the holiday. Now it is my mission to do some extra careful planning and consuming as I have my work x-mas party this Friday and then Christmas dinner next week. My year end goal is to be 185 and I am so making that! Happy Tuesday!

as of yesterday i'm down a total of 23 lbs. i hope to lose 2 more by christmas, but i'm having serious motivation issues when it comes to my eating habits! grrrs

Totally forgot to post this on Monday! I lost 1.6 pounds, which put me down to 229.8. Under 230!!! I have 4.8 pounds to go for my Christmas goal!

Looks like thanksgiving didn't do soooo much damage,I too was very afraid to get on the scale as I enjoyed the day but I did not get carried away. I lost .8 reaching my mini goal of 193 for the month now I just need to hit my end of year goal of 185...I'm gonna give it my best!

I didnt post last week, as I had a gain of .4. This week, I am down 4.0 pounds. Down to 231.4, from a Spark starting weight of 258!!!

I really got excited when I stepped on the scales this morning. I have been avoiding them since Thanksgiving. I have had dessert [left overs] every day since Thursday.

This morning, I was down a pound.
I am now at 181.
I reset my goals to something I thought I could reach. To something I have weighed in the last 12 years.
When I reach that, I will reset the goal again on my tracker. I know I won't weigh what I did when I was 30 again, but maybe what I did when I was 40.

Sounds like everyone is doing great! Even if the scale isn't always moving, at least we are trying and eating healthier and moving more. Congrats to all of you!!! I am down only l lb. in two weeks but I could have gained that 1 lb.so therefore I am happy.

Today was my normal weigh-in day, and I am happy to report that I am down 5.2 pounds since last week. That is a total of 23 pounds. I started at 258, and I am now 235!!!!!

Well, today was my weigh in day. I am now at 240.2, and I was 241.6 last week. I started Spark at 258, so this means 17.8 pounds!!! I am so close to my first mini-goal, I can taste it!!

Great job everyone!
I weigh in tomorrow so am going to avoid the salt today and try to eat clean.
I notice a big difference to the scale when I have alot of salt. Eating out is a killer, it seems so much easier when you cook for yourself.

This week I rocked my weigh-in, however we shall see what happens the next 2 weigh-in's as my period is due to arrive in the next day or two and on top of that this week I indulged in cheese pizza,broasted chicken and mini snicker bars...I don't do this often but I do know that I will have to compensate for this poor decision the rest of the week until I weigh in again, not good timing considering my period is also due to arrive....I usually crave stuff that I know is not the healthiest stuff i should be fueling my body with....my weigh-in this coming week will automatically be affected by my period however by the following week's weigh-in my goal is not only to maintain my 4 pound loss this week but earning an extra pound lost.....I will be anxious to report back to you all. Happy Thursday and enjoy Halloween!

Yay, I'm finally starting to see results! When I barely lost a pound in the first week, I was discouraged, because I was so used to my stupid crash diets where I'd be down ten pounds asap. Three weeks of eating healthy and exercising frequently (but not obsessively) has rewarded me in a three pound loss, with little danger of gaining it again because I'm not worn out or hungry.

To celebrate, I'm taking a Bollywood dance class today!

Rough couple of weeks - internet went out, trying to job hunt, got sick.... blah blah - ended in a 2 pound gain. :(

Anyways, I am still around that area of what I like to call my wall (150-155), so I decided to up the intensity of my workouts this week, starting tomorrow (now that I am feeling better). I still think I can maybe get 15 pounds at least :/
