RJANEWAY, you're probably totally right about it being my shoes! They're pretty old and falling apart, and I know they're not a good fit. The irony is that since nice, properly fitting running shoes are so expensive, I told myself I can only buy new shoes if I manage to finish the bootcamp, as a reward to myself. Arg!

Oh my goodness!!! I must be working harder this week than last week. All the videos are harder! emoticon
Maybe I am developing better body awareness - lol! I lost 5" last week; it's worth the struggle.

Felt this week a lot more in my arms. Had real resistance bands this time, instead of the cheaper tube, and it made a HUGE difference. MOre workout, less frustration.

I've been surprised at how little lingering soreness, though. That's a good thing. Gonna run today!

I adore these videos. I love finally learning what to do with the fitness band and I love that it's short, so I can just stick it somewhere into my schedule and not feel like I'm straining myself.

I love the lower body exercises the most, though, because my knees are extremely weak, and I need to do more to improve my knee strength.

I really love these videos!! I really appreciate the short length because I can incorporate these into my normal workout routine, so I am adding 10 minutes of exercise to my day later on in the day which is PERFECT.

I love how short these are because they work so well into my schedule. Plus, I had to go on a road trip this weekend where I was either sitting in a car, or doing family activities (funeral, viewing, dinner etc) Only one of which included movement. This meant that I did not get Sat. or Sunday's workouts done. However, because they are so short, I did Sunday's workout (cardio) twice, and the jump rope video (which adds up to 30 min cardio) plus today's challenge video and I still had some time for gardening which actually counts as additional cardio! It just makes it so easy to really feel you are getting in some good exercise every day! emoticon

Amazing! I have been able to do each challenge each day since the beginning of bootcamp. The lower body workout with band was awkward for me today. The band came off my foot a couple of times, and putting it around my ankle was not very comfortable. I will have to work on this.

I wanted to get back on track with bootcamp this week, but I was thrown off because I usually start my week on Monday not Sunday.

I had to make up for Saturday and Sunday, so I did those videos - the cardio one twice. I also did today's video and bonus challenge. If I can summon up a little more energy, I will ride my stationary bike for half an hour while I watch a little tv.

Job done with 60 minutes on the treadmill.

I weigh-in on Mondays and I lost 1.5 lb this week. Added to the 2 lbs of last week, I already lost 3.5 lbs since I started this bootcamp!

Let's keep with it.

AMAROKT, Maybe it's your shoes. I had started an exercise program a couple of years ago and started having horrible pain in my heel. I had a new pair of name-brand running shoes. I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon, got orthotic inserts, and a prescription to take to a store that specialized in fitting sports shoes. When I wore the shoes (with my new orthotics in place) out of the store, my heel didn't hurt at all. Worn out or poorly fitted shoes can cause all sorts of ills.

Another thought is potassium deficiency. You could try eating a banana before you run. Rotating some other cardio with the running might help, also. And, of course, if the problem continues, see your doctor.

Good luck with the process of finding what works for you. -RJ

I am starting to feel improvement. I made it through both workouts, only problem is my knees won't let go down very far on the lunges, but that is minor. I haven't lost any weight but I feel better and my clothes are starting to fit better. I can't wait for the end of month results.

I did 25 minutes of Turbo Jam and I am going to take a run as soon as I get off of Spark. I am in the time of the month where nothing makes sense about my weight but my measurements seemed to have survived the terror last week was. I still have to enter them but they're pretty much the same.

Ugh, I'm not having the best day today. I keep getting pain in the back of my calves while running. I had a hard time just running for half an hour today because of it. This happens every time I try to do running on a daily basis, and it's so disappointing. I hope I'm feeling better tomorrow so I can keep up. Hopefully everyone's workouts are going better than mine.

well i'm playing catch-up this week after taking the weekend off and not finishing my cardio on friday.
I got all the videos done up to date...still 25 minutes behind on cardio. I so wanted to count the kickbox video in my cardio but that was saturdays video so can't count that 10 minutes lol.
tomorrow i plan a heavy cardio day since I don't have to do more than the one strength video.

I found the extra video for glutes difficult for balance issues. There could be some injuries for those who haven't exercised for awhile. It was a tough one for balance. Just a thought.

I generally like resistance bands, but I find them much easier to use for upper body workouts. I just can't get the hang of looping it around my ankle or putting it around my shoe.

I didn't get a chance to do any of the videos this weekend, since I graduated and had family in town. I did the Pilates abs video today--I had forgotten how awesome Pilates is!

My running is also progressing nicely. I did a 4 mile run today, and I'm planning on a 5 miler tomorrow...if the weather cooperates!

I really haven't been doing the videos on SP. I just finished up a Fit Camp that is 5 days a week & am starting a new one today that is 6 weeks. I need to do the SP workouts on my days off, though!

I was behind this morning and feeling guilty for not doing the cardio video yesterday. So, this morning I opened 3 windows, one with the cardio video, one with today's video and one with the bonus video. I started with cardio, then today's, then cardio again, then the bonus. I had planned to finish with the cardio again, but my legs felt like jelly! I was feeling it though, I'm going to try again tomorrow I think.
Anyway, since I enjoyed it, I thought others might too! Traci
