This is a great challenge. It's really helping me. Today I stayed in my calorie range and I did 1/5 hour of strength training and 1/2 hour on the elliptical.

I about to do the challenges for today!

I feel good!

The Good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb!

So I totally didn't have internet access this weekend, so I didn't get to the workout videos. I did get exercise in all days except Monday, which was the trip home...I was in the air or on the road from 8am to 930 pm, so that was too long a day. I'm probably not going to get much cardio done tonight unless I get an energy boost because I am so wiped, but I will do the video and then get started for real tomorrow!

My greatest fear is that I'll look back on my life and wonder what I did with it.

That's how I got towards the end of the last bootcamp....I started doubling up. No time so far with this one. I liked today's, it felt good on my arms. I copied the exercises down on paper and took it to the gym. I did regular tricep closed arm pushup and think I got some looks from some buff guys, it was fun! hehe

I hope everyone is having fun working on their new bodies.... :)

Did the 10 minute bootcamp video from day 1 - 2 times! Plus a 20 min. "Ballet Strength workout" that I just love from Exercise TV for a total of 40 mins. of cardio.
Did the band workout using my broken band! :-) It worked but I went out and bought a new one anyway. Plus I did the extra challenge of the closed arm wall pushups plus some ab work. Done for today and feel fabulous!

Staying on track doing my workouts...
Elliptical / Weights / Treadmill about 90 mins daily plus the video on SP!
Ventured onto the scale for the first time this morning...good thing I did and I'm glad I'm in the right place! Scary to gain all your weight back after losing 60 lbs! But I know I can do it again and hopefully this time hang on to my new lifestyle with everything I've got! I truly want to help others and give them hope...just like all the Sparklers here! Looks like it's going to be another late night for me. I hope I have the willpower to push through it all tonight. I'm going to try to go ahead and get the pushups out of the way now, but I definitely don't have 30 minutes + 10 for cardio and the video until, oh, after 10 or 11.

This is so great! It's like having a personal trainer almost! without the cost! :) Thanks to everyone who put this together. I feel great about following it to the "T" so far. I know that after I complete this, I will feel more confident in a bathing suit, NOT perfect, but more confident that I worked hard and stuck to a program like this to the end!

LOL, I have just finished cooking my spaghetti sauce and was getting ready to go in the kitchen to package it for freezing because if I don't there "ain't' no portion control.LOL

Of course I always cheat and have a few tablespoons, " just for quality control" but as I was getting up to go into the kitchen I got an email notification from Sparks that "EATNBOOGERS" had replied to this thread. I started yesterday because I don't work out on Sundays, I do cardio, but no working out. The good news is that my Gazelle got here yesterday and I could get back on track with my cardio. I had hurt my heel a week ago and haven't been able to run. The Gazelle doesn't cause heel pain but actually seems to work me out more than running. I am pleased with it and especially getting on the scales and seeing a -3.5. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! emoticon

I did day 3, can not get on the floor, but I did manage by sitting in a chair, when the band was across feet, I just held my feet in the air, and the under knees part, I just went under knees instead of kneeling on the band. I love how I can see what she can do and I can modify it so I can follow along.

For the pushups, I just always do wall pushups, so that is an easy modify.

good morning everyone,

Am getting a late start into this. Didn't have the energy to on Sunday, and on Monday didn't have the time. I did get in my cardio for both days so my 500 minutes will add up. Today got in a couple of videos. That's the great part of these videos, you do have time to get at least one done.

Day 1 was good and I completed my 10 min work out but I could not do day 2 work out because of all the weekend activity which put a strain on my muscle. I was too exhausted to work out yesterday. Today I will Complete day 2 and 3 with the exception of the 30 minute work out because of lack of time due to preparing for a house guess. Sorry if I let anyone down. I will get my schedule together and do better. Hats off to those who are keeping up and keeping it going. P.S. How do I add the scale to show my wt. loss?

Just do it and take it day by day. Before you know it you will be right where you wanted to be.

Well I'm getting ready to get off my bottom and do my workouts. I'm behind today I was supposed to be taking the kids to the Dr's but Had to cancel at the last min. So my day is thrown off a little but that's okay Ill get caught up sooner or later.


The principle is competing against yourself. Its about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before.

To be in the running for the contest, I need to log my fitness minutes in the Virtual Fitness Center. Unfortunately, my Virtual Fitness Center is in another domain, since I came to SparkPeople from IBM. That's where I log my minutes, and it doesn't transfer them. if I log my minutes in the VFC, it screws up my diet numbers.

Anyone have any suggestions?

But manage to finally find them and did day 1 and day 2's worksouts both yesterday as well as 40 minutes on the treadclimber at the gym and 30+ minutes of strength training on the machines at the gym as well. I haven't done any of todays work out of challenges but the day is young and I have a 2 year old to chase so I am sure I will get the challenge's in plus.

Hi all,

Feeling pretty darn good going into day 3!
Got a good 35 minute walk (2 miles) after work, came home and did the video and had dinner and just kept moving around the house instead of sitting in front of the tv!

Another pretty day here in Ohio today so I'll be walking in the park again after work.
