ONEBUSYMOUSE,sorry to heat that the gazelle is not working out for you.I can tell you that one the things I like about it is that it's so easy to fold and put away and that was a problem that I had with later exercise equipment. As far as how much weight I lost with it I'm not sure because,I contribute my weight loss to so many things including other exercises and eating right, but I do feel that it has helped to save inches off my thighs.GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

I attribute the majority of my weight and inch loss to SparkPeople's nutrition tracker and the gazelle (as I used the gazelle almost exclusively). I started with 10-15 minutes at a time, then moved up to 30. Now, I use it between 30-45 minutes 5 days per week.

I live in a 2 bedroom apt. My daughter has the bigger, "master" bedroom because of all her toys and bike and stuff. I use my gazelle in my bedroom. It is tight, but it works for me. I literally placed it as close to the wall as I could (I swung the gliders as far as they could go).

Hay onebusymouse, and I'm sorry to hear that you think your glider is causing you to gain weight.

I know one thing that there are points to where you can gain instead of looses weight while working out and that's because your gaining MUSCLE, NOT FAT and MUSCLE does in fact weigh more then fat.

I personally can say I've lost 1/2 inch from doing my gazelle, but i'll also be honest and say I don't just do just my gazelle. But when I do ,do it I hit it hard and I walk at least a mile or more when I use mine for 20 to 30 minutes when I do use it.
As for your space that's one thing. Some don't keep there gazelle out in the open they keep it folded up until they go to use it.
But then if you feel that your not getting what you'd like to from your gazelle then do you what you think is best.
Good luck to you!
