I have a four pack..and working on the 5th. Not sure I will ever have a 6th due to surgery. 5 is better than 4. :o)

We can do it! One day at a time. :)

I won't have a six-pack unless they can be surgically implanted. LOL.

Can't really call it a six-pack yet, but the definition is so there. Even moving down to my lower belly after a half year of Turbo Jam. I saw two little ridges on my lower belly in the mirror not long ago. I investigated and realized they were my hip bones.

Hip bones!!!!!!!!!!! Who knew those things were still in there.

My abs are showing more definition all the time. I have no idea if there's a six-pack in there, but I know my back feels great as my abs get stronger!!

Ah, if only in my dreams. I would like a true waistline.

Hey Alan, thanks for giving me what will now be my new response to the 6-pack question. "Who needs a 6-pack when you can have one big sheet of muscle" LOL

Well, me and my big sheet of muscle needs to go for a walk. I will try not to flaunt it. Don't want to trigger any jealousies. emoticon

Debbie, you make a good point. I remember discussing this with my doctor ... the ability to have a true 6-pack is as much related to genetics and body build than any dieting or working out. Most people will work out forever, possibly more than those with the full buff 6-pack, but there abdominal (and I think rectus) muscles are just not physiologically capable of creating the 6 sections. The abs muscle itself is actually just one bit sheet of muscle.

No, and I doubt I will ever get one. I have been trying for a while, and the first 'lines' are starting to show, but I thik that's about all I'm going to get. My skin just isn't tight enough anymore (I lost about 40 kg and having had that extra weight has stretched my skin too far), but I keep doing my best to tone up a bit more.

Close to the 6-pack. I refer to it as a 4-pack with the wrapping still covering the last two. Truth is my abs are rock solid - but having lost 140 pounds, there is some excess skin down at the bottom 2 that will cover those two unless I decide on cosmetic surgery - which I'm not vain enough to desire.

LOL - but unless you're intimate with me or you see me in a Speedo (which no one ever will :), people will see the upper 4 and can just assume the lower 2 look just as good :-)

I will have my six pack abs when I grow another 3-4 inches taller. I am waiting patiently for it to happen. Im sure I cant be done. I know I am 51 and most women start shrinking as they age but by golly Im still waiting for that growth spurt of height to hit and then.. I will have my six pack show!(the extra skin will stretch and ....)

Yes, underneath this top layer of fat. It's there. I know it. Just have to clean up the diet a little more. That's the key. Actually, that was never one of my goals. My goals were all health related. But, if I do get one I won't give it back! LOL. stevo5o

Just wondering how many of us have an abdomen like the one on our team icon. Me? No, but it is much flatter than it has been for 15 years.

I am at goal and maintaining. Thanks to my friends on SparkPeople and in the real world who motivate me every day.

My healthy BMI weight range is a generous 65kg to 55kg. My Spark goal is 60kg.
