Went on a beautiful 2.13 mile walk with my husband. We went through the marina and to the end of the fishing pier, walking a 22 minute mile.

I planned. I started the day at the farmers market, then hit the grocery stores for whatever else I needed for the week. Chopped and prepped the items that needed it. Made a couple dishes form my clean eating magazine for later in the week when I won't have time to cook. For me a productive sunday.

We saw a movie and I didn't get popcorn. Then we went out to lunch and I made a very healthy yet delicious choice!! emoticon

For the first time, I think I'll actually be able to log 10,000 steps. I'm very proud of myself. I only have 700 more steps to go and about 4 hours to complete them. I'm gonna make it!!!!!

I kept busy all day, I went for an hour walk, I did yard work, I cleaned my house, I did my homework and I cooked dinner! I just have soooo much energy lately!

Tracked my snack, I decided to have a iced latte (not my usual snack) and pound cake slice (again, out of the ordinary). I tracked all the calories and, surprise! not as bad as I thought. I am still within my calorie range. However, next time I want an iced latte, I may opt for a iced coffee or a nonfat variety. I don't believe there is alternative to the pound cake (except no cake emoticon )

Lesson learned: it's okay to have higher calorie snack as part of overall healthy eating lifestyle. One snack does not mean failure.

I got to the gym early and went on the treadmill and stair machine. And I tried a machine that I had never tried before.

Wow! Congrats on the 1/2 marathon. My "something right" was on a smaller scale, but I was able to resist all the high fat/high calorie choices at our local breakfast diner when I went out with my husband and grown kids. I chose from the a la cart menu and enjoyed the great conversation.

I'm doing my best to stay on track but it's been difficult. My father-in-law is hospitalized and am eating cafeteria food, ugh!

What have I done right? Eating salads 1/2 sandwiches without mayo!

So I was in 7-11 yesterday getting a Diet Coke, and I felt like a snack too. So I was lookiing at all the different bags of chips, trying to decide which flavor to get, knowing all along that any choice of them would be a bad idea....and I walked out of there with a banana. :)
