My knees were swollen and I put ice on them. No permanent damage. My head and neck was bruised for about a week. I didn't go to the Dr over it . I have aniexty over going to sleep now. I still have the fear of falling.

I recently fell out of bed. We had a hard time getting me off the floor. With 2 knee replacements, you can't put any weight on your knees which makes it hard to get up from the floor. It's scary when it happens, but then it's funny later.

The last time I fell I tripped on the curb. I had only lived here about a week when this happened. I didn't realize the driveway had a curb. I was getting out of a taxi when it happened.

I almost fell off the step stool yesterday. My dad and hubby always tells me I shouldn't get on it when I am alone. I would never get anything done then, lol. I am trying to be more careful.

I haven't fallen in quite awhile. A fall at my age could mean a fractured hip so I sometimes use a cane. My balance is not good.

not yet... last year when I fell, it's because I wasn't paying attention and stepped on a rock wrong.

I am over cautious with every step I take, and it works, I haven't fallen for a number of years.

A very wise decision to wear an alert Nancy.

No, so far my balance is still excellent. I do trip now and again, but almost always recover before hitting the deck.

Do you fall because you are hurrying to much.

Yes, I do and I have slowed down and also in the house I wear shoes. Since I am by myself, I am getting an "alert" to wear. I never thought I would wear one, but I think it is a wise decision being by myself.
