An early morning walk to get the body working and clear the mind ready for the day. A fabluous shower with some LUSH products (WHOOOSH! is a great shower jelly that just wakes you up with a whoosh!). AND a nice cup of tea.

Early summer mornings are glorious - the sun, the temp, the animals. I love it when we are camping in MI by a lake, and I get up early enough to see the mist rising from the lake, with a couple of loons flying low, looking for breakfast. Sometimes, I'll even walk around the lake (~ 1 hr) before almost anyone else is up!

I went for a nice long swim last night and was AF. This morning I got up and had a luxurious shower and drank a bunch of coffee. I'm guilt free today which is lovely.

Remember that the little things we do each day matter.

First of all, I am down to about nothing in the way of alcohol and I had nothing last night.

This morning I hit the streets at 5:30 to get my 3 mile walk/jog in for the day. I then went to work and the endorphins are still flowing freely. I totally love sobriety and the way you feel ALIVE!!!

I'm on day four of sobriety, been drinking more coffee, did my nails last night, have gotten some nutrition/fitness support from my husband, and woke up as "non-grumpy-Tina" at six this morning!

I'm rip-rearing-ready-to-go!

I feel a bit dry because I slept in my contacts, but I'm so full of energy. I weeded the garden (a portion of a row) yesterday, and we'll walk today. I have plans to rake and cart off leaves on Saturday. Sunday afternoon we might have neighbors over for tea and cookies.

I got an awesome vegan mac'n'cheese recipe a couple of days ago that I'm dying to try out. It uses 1/2c. each cooked carrots, potatoes, peppers, nuts/nut butter, and onions with a bit of lemon juice, garlic, salt, and smart balance all pureed together for the cheese sauce. emoticon
