Relaxed or natural, we all need a good routine that covers all of the basics, but still is simple enough to follow regularly. I would shampoo weekly with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and follow up with a deep conditioner. End your wash day with a solid leave-in/moisturizer. I re-moisturize my hair every other day. Keep your hair in an easy style in between washes and sleep with a bonnet or silk pillowcase.

This is all I have been doing for the past 9 weeks.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I haven't posted in a long time and it doesn't look like anyone else has either! Although I need to get back into routine exercise (many failed attempts for one reason or another), I was actually looking for any hair care info in times of coronavirus. Hair salons are not open yet in my state (I don't think) and where I usually go is still too much of a hot spot (NYC). I feel as if I am one of the few black women still with relaxed hair but being forced natural by covid , which is leading to breakage. I did not realize the extent until this weekend. I'm an essential worker,so I haven't been paying true attention to the damage until the now. Anyone with any hair care tips. Please note: I fear screwing up my hair (more than it already is)
