I know Go Hard is finished, but we stil need to keep exercising and eating healthy as we march in March.

I was MIA for 2 weeks and I only lost 3lbs for February but I lost 4.5 inches overall (waist, hips,thigh, calves, neck & arms) and I'm extremely happy and proud about that.

At least some progress is being made whether on the scales or in inches. emoticon

The gym instructors just made us climb 21 flights of stairs and back down and then work out for another 30 min after...I'm Beat! emoticon

Ok so I missed my goal by 4lbs but 12lbs in 2 months is still pretty good. The crazy thing is though is that my calorie parameters were set up for me to only loose 1.5 lbs/week which is exactly what I did. Didn't realize it though until Fri. of last week :0( Its cool though because I changed it so that my cal. parameters will allow me to loose 2lbs/week so now I am all set for the new challenge. I hope that everyone has enjoyed this challenge as much as I have. It was definitely "challenging" at times but it was great motivator and jump start to my weight loss journey.

I didn't reach my goal weight of 194 for the challenge but I'm perfectly okay with that because I feel better overall. Ready for the new challenge. Go Hard was an excellent success for me so far. I have enjoyed doing it. I did not log in amy results on friday, Saturday & Sunday. I did do all my regular Go Hard items each day. February Go Hard is a now over, but the work must continue.

Hello all been MIA for a while but I'm back and ready to get in the swing of things again.I've done everthing I needed to do to start my business now just waiting for my phone to ring.

Today I started my journal with my workouts and meal plans.I've already posted my meals for the week so there will be no slip ups I also bought the biggest loser game been doing that for the past week.So i'm ready for the next challene.

I hope that everyone has a FABULOUS & FIERCE Friday!!! I hope you all treat your bodies great today & this weekend. Treat your body to some healthy food & some good cardio.. I look forward to relaxing this weekend & just enjoying life!!

I am enjoying being at Peace with Stress at Work & truly can say I am Discovering JOY!!! It feels soooo Peaceful to know that with the stress of work, it doesn't have Control over me mentally! I am just Dancing With Stress!! So I am just going to Embrace It & Dance With It!! I am just going to take the lead in the Dance & Just let It Flow!!

I realized that Stress is a normal part of life & once I came to that reality, I have been learning that it's just another Dance in Life, so Why not Take the Lead of this Dance. Yes, Stress does step on my toes at times but I just have to know how to direct my Stress. I can't put into words how it feels to not let the stress Control me, Yes it gets to me but there is a BIG DIFFERENCE in "Getting Stressed VS Stress Controling You."

Hi Everyone,

It has been three long years but I need help so I am back and up for any challenge. Change of location is wreaking havoc with my fitness and diet plans so I guess it is back to the drawing board before I lose the plot completely. Thanks team leader, I wasn't sure BBQ will be up and running after such a long time but it is still the great team its always been, if not better. emoticon

I take it one day at a time and one meal at a time.

Been a long time.....
Alright ladies, the past week and a half has been absolutely crazy!! I have totally fallen off the bandwagon with tracking my food which probably means I have been going over my allotted daily calories. On a positive note though, I have been getting in my cardio even if my eating has not been that great.
But anyways TODAY IS A NEW DAY AND I'M BACK AND READY TO GET IT GOING AGAIN! Ladies we have made it into the last week of this challenge and everyone is doing a great job and we will persevere! I lost 2 lbs last week but have not lost anything this week so I am 5lbs away from my challenge goal of 208. I want more than anything right now to see 208 on the scale hopefully by the end of this challenge next week or definitely within the next two weeks! 5lbs is a lot to loose in one week but I am sure gonna try and as long as I have tried my hardest and given it my all, I will be happy with whatever the result is!! Well thats enough rambling...I hope eveyone is having a great day!

HELLO QUEENS!! I haven't been posting much but decided today is a good day to encourage my sisters and myself! I'm not where I should be but I'm not where I used to be! WE CAN DO ANYTHING BUT FAIL!!
Goals for the month
1.)Cardio 5 to 6 days a week
2.) Strength 3 to 4 days a week
3.) Log everything I eat and make a conscious decision to be better!

This time is for me! We can only be good to others if we are good to ourselves! NO matter what went wrong don't worry about how many times you slipped, we are QUEENS! Get back up, square your shoulders and remind yourself who you are that you are more than a conqueror!! Don't put it off Let's get moving right now! Procrastination is the greatest enemy of progress! We are almost through the LAST week of this challenge!!!! Are you ready for the next one???

Cassandra ~ there seems to be A LOT going on with you right now. I have seen that you continually have a lot of ups and downs. With that being said maybe it is time that you consider going and talking to someone (professional) to help you deal or at least cope with the issues that you are having. I think that if you do this, that you will find that they may be able to point you in a positive direction instead of a path of self destruction. Finding comfort in food isnt cool at all. I see that you are making a great effort with venting the issues that you are having but it just doesnt seem like enough because you keep revisiting the same spot. Are you with me? I will keep you in prayer.

Happy Hump-Day Diva's!!!

So as you all know I have been missing a part of Cassandra. I have been missing my zest for life. I have to be completely honest to have my Joy in my life.. This will be long b/c it's more so for me to be honest & just vent my feelings... So today I let it out..

Yesterday I ate bad, I ate about maybe 40 plain M&M's, I just stopped counting at one point. I made like 3 trips to the candy jar at work. Then I ate about 8 almond kisses. Then I went to grocery store when I got off & bought some sugar wafers, now I have eaten these in nearly 2 years (ate 7 of them). However, I just ate whatever I wanted. I was sooooo consumed by stress at work & I once again turned to emotional eating. I know I don't like how I feel after I eat a lot of junk- So Why Do I Eat It????

I asked myself "What Are You Missing? What Are You Searching For?" The truth is I keep on letting counterfeit joys consume me b/c the truth is I felt only momentary Joy from those foods but at the end of the night I was upset & disappointed with myself. I realized that I am just going thru the motions of life & not living my life b/c I am letting food control my life. I know that my Stress level at work for the next 5 months is going to be at a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10! So if I know that every February thru June my work load will be extremely demanding & stressful, how can I make this year different. How can I find JOY in the Midst of Chaos, In the Midst of Stress???


Every year during Feb-June I manage to gain about 10 pounds from work stress. I am seriously trying to find a way to not let Stress Control My Life & then use Stress as a Reason to turn to Food.. I am tired of the- Counterfeit Joy of the Cookies, of the Cake, of the Chips, of the Junk Food!!! I want to be at Peace in the time of the Storm... I don't know how long it will take me to get there but I am going to try my best to find my way there...

Had a busy week and start of this week. Today was better. I lost a whole 2lbs, wish it could have been more but I will take it. It did feel good to loose that little amount. I still have til Mother's Day to reach my goal. I can do this!

Happy Tuesday Diva's!!!

Today I sit here reflecting on "Where Is My Joy????" So I started reading a new book last night. I feel I have misplaced my Joy, it's Not Lost- Just Misplaced currently. My life has been all over the place recently & I am trying to Re-Discover My Misplaced Joy. I am at acceptance now that I need to find that Joy again.. Every day is a new day for me to Re-Discover the hidden things that I have suppressed or misplaced for a long time.

This journey has allowed me to see that "Joy Is Hope and Hope Is Joy".... So I know that I am on the right track & must continue to keep digging for my misplaced Joy.. So in essence "Acceptance Is the Heart Of Our Transformation.."

Hey Vivacious Diva's!!!!

My MRI came back great!!! I only bruised a tendon in my shoulder which caused it to flair up. So I am good & can't do weights for about 1 to 2 weeks. So I am happy it wasn't serious!!! My doctor said since I am soooo young that my muscles could handle it. So I have to take it easy but I am happy to get back into the swing of things.

I did my Tae-bo this morning b/c my weight loss has stalled & I only have 2 1/2 months until my birthday Cruise in the Bahamas. So I have got to really get serious!!! So thanks once again for your support & prayers!!!

So....I only lost .2 pounds this week emoticon

The good news is that I have exactly 1 month to reach my weight loss goal before I go on vacation. Unfortunately, I dont think its realistic that I will lose 15 pounds by then given the slowed loss I have had lately, but I believe I can get really close. So, I'm shooting for 10.

I'm upping my dedication starting today. I have stayed within my calorie range (and started tracking my sodium since I know that is a problem), drank my water, adn worked out for 2 hours in Group X classes today for 1.5 hours cardio and .5 hours strength.

The scales WILL move this week!!! emoticon

Got up and went to the gym this morning. I did my 1 hour latin dance class followed by another hour of bootcamp. Weigh in is 2morrow, so I hope I am no longer on a stand still with numbers on the scale. Have a great weekend ladies and Go Hard!! 1 more week till this challenge is over! emoticon

Feeling a lil bummed today folks. It was weigh in day and I haven't lost a thing. The positive side of this is that I havent gained anything, but I worked so hard this week! Well, Sunday starts a new week. And today, I did very well, drank my water, exercised and stayed in my calorie goals....hmm. I even started a new Jillian Michael's video and have done it three times, and lemmie tell ya, it is kick azz! hmmm...ok ok. I need some luv people! I hate reaching a standstill. emoticon
