SPARKLE1908,
I fight with a sleep disorder myself. Do you have a good sleep hygiene. I have found that to be very important. You have to prepare your mind for sleep. It just not getting in the bed and falling asleep. It is all the things you do to help your brain get ready for bed.

I hear yall but my "sleep" problem is a little different...I can go to bed early but I won't fall asleep anyway until late..I can lay in the bed for hours wide awake....

In recent months I have really gone back to some old habits that I hadn't done for years, but I feel that I am slowly getting things back under control. I hate losing control of myself.

I hear you lovely ladies about the sleep...and then last night I go so mad at my bf because I went home in between my 2 jobs to pack my lunch and get my gym bag ready, thinking yes finally i will get to bed early...then as I am sitting there trying to log all my calories and food he comes over and starts to goof off, then has the audacity to get in the bed before me... emoticon oh i wanted to take him out so bad emoticon

Trying to force myself to eat when I'm not hungry. I'm trying to get out of starvation mode. I'm use to eating once or twice max a day. If I'm really busy I could go the whole day without a hunger pain. I won't remember that I didn't eat anything. I was told by my gym instructor that it will take 4-6 weeks to get my body to realize that food is on it's way every 3-4 hrs. Today was very hard for me to eat. I caught a bit of a cold and when I'm sick I don't want to eat a thing!!

We can do it! One day at a time. :)

I am really starting to get back to normal with my habits. I'm eating better, getting to bed earlier, and turning off the computer. It feels so much better to get somewhat back on track. Baby steps all the way.

I can truly say I am doing better with getting in the bed earlier and turning off the computer. Not where I should be, but it is getting better.

How is everyone else doing?

I am glad to see I am not the only one. Not getting enough sleep AND eating late. By the time I get finished with helping kids with homework, cooking and fitting in a workout not to mention that last minute to pick up around the house....well you get the picture. I am trying to get back on track this week. I chalk it up to a lack or organization on my part.

It will get better for all of US!

I am really working hard to get back in my routine at night and get off this computer in a timely manner. I follow the flylady system and it has worked for me for year. I don't know when I got off the routine, but I am paying the price for not sticking to my routine.

I am not getting enough sleep which leads me to another bad habit making excuses for not going to the gym which leads to another not planning meals and eating on the go. emoticon However I am still not giving up. I know I will get there.

I sacrifice sleep all the time. My coworkers dont say anything to me until they see me smile or they hear my music. I try to go to bed early, but it seems as if there is always to much to do and to little time.

Wow I thought it was just me feeling like this. I have not been getting much sleep myself but I really believe the time change has a lot to do with it and we have had so many activiites going on with our kids lately too that keeps us busy..Hopefully that will slow down soon. When I can't sleep I just try to get that exercise in though that was I know I am doing something constructive and hopefully the results will pay off.

Yes. I have picked back up on the habit of eating whatever I want. I hate so I am working really hard to break it again.

I had to give up my bad habits once I had another child. My oldest is 13 and my baby is 1 so I had to start all over again with routines. At the same time, I have to work, come home, cook, clean up, workout, get some time on the computer and then off to bed. If I mess one of those up and not do it I will be up past my bed time and I'll be miserable to next day. I don't like being miserable so I stay on schedule and make myself do what I have to do. It wasn't easy at first, but I had to make the change to make my life easier.

Well, it seems that I have allowed myself to start a bad habit that I use to do. I am staying up late and not getting enough sleep. I go to work tired and come home wanting to sleep and not getting anything done.

Has anyone else found themselves going back to any bad habits?
