Feedback Need on New SparkRecipes Widget

Hello everyone looking forward to the Holiday Season just to have an excuse to spend time with family and friends. Hope everyone is having a great week

Go to your spark page and click the edit button. Then go to add a picture. You will find an option on the right that lets you choose one of SparkPeople's pictures. You will find your 10# pic there. Congrats!

I would like to add the 10# weitloss logo to my profile. Where do I get it?

Where do I get the widget to put on my space page?

i added the widget to my myspace page. i think it looks great! so awesome!

Gottcha....

Right click on the 20# down profile pic. Save the pic to your computer. Upload the pic to your gallery
Then pick that for your profile.

Should work fine.

I know how to change my profile picture. My question is why doesn't the recipe widget show certain profile images, but will show others? If I have a photo that I have uploaded as my profile image, the widget will display that, but if I use one of the weight lost logos from SP it doesn't show up on the widget.

To change your PROFILE pic you have to click EDIT your page....go down to PROFILE PIC, on the right hand side, and click on change pic. (or whatever it says).....then select the picture you want from your gallery.

How come the recipe widget doesn't show my profile picture? It showed my picture when I was using one that I had uploaded, but it's not showing now that I am using a SP "I lost 20 pounds" picture for my profile image.

Hi everyone -- I see a lot of questions asking how you enter recipes. If it isn't too late to answer -- You have to go to SparkRecipes.com listed under "Healthy Lifestyle" above. (Make sure you are logged in to Sparkpeople otherwise you can't save anything you enter) Then you click on the tab that says recipe calculator. First you enter in the amounts of ingredients just as you would in your food tracker. Below that you actually write the recipe in a regular recipe format with cups, tablespoons, grams, etc.... Then you are offered the option of saving and sharing your recipe. If you share the recipe it will automatically appear listed on the widget on your myspace account -- which will be a link back to SparkRecipes. Hope that helps!

It will update every time you add a recipe to your recipe box.

That is so awsome. I just added my widget and it had the recipe in there already that I had added to my recipe box. That is so cool. But my question is, will it update or do I have to keep adding the recipes in there myself?? Just courious.

I got the widget added and it works fine. Now, I just have to get my recipes added.

I just had a momen to check this out and its AWESOME! I'm adding this to my MySpace shortly! I can't wait! I've been looking for healthier receipes forever it seems like and I am so thankful for this!

This might seem really stupid but I can figure out how to post recipes to the site...and I have some really good ones.

This is great. I added it my myspace page. Now all my friends can get great, low-fat, low-calories recipes.

Neat-o...thanks a bunch! I just posted my 1st recipe, a salisbury steak made w/ground turkey instead of ground beef to help save calories & fat. Give it a try!

Just thought I would add something I found. I was trying to figure out how many calories you burn doing regular household activities i.e. washng dishes, laundry, driving, talking on phone. I found the perfect website. Create an account so you can input your actual weight and it will give you actual calories burned It is a weight loss website but sparkpeople is 300% better. http://www.calorie-count.com

That is so cool Grant! I got one on my page.. but i need to add more recipes lol :)

It seems to be an issue with the widget, we're going to do some things to slow down the transition so it doesn't flash each recipe's title.

Yeah that is the one I used, I even redid it. I really don't want to change my layout either, I really like it... I don't know what to do! :(
